If you just purchased the camera and you are already having problems with it I would not try to troubleshoot the problem I would exchange it for a new one. If you purchased the camera from a Best Buy™ store the return/exchange period on the camera is 14 days. I hope this helps!

Hi, here is whats going on, if your M763 is powering on for 2 secs and the lense opens up then go's right back in, there is a 90% chance you got sand in the unit from say the beach ?
here is a test , when you press the power buttion watch the lense you will notice that the bigger part rotates as it comes out, what you want to do is give it a little help Lightly rotate it abit more just at the point where it normaly stops and go's back in, the cam will prob stay on and work like normal.
now the hard part 2 things to try, a can of AIR from walmarts try to blow out and sand thats around the rings, i did this and have fixed about 20 of these's now, on the others you will need to take it apart and clean the gears and mech of the lense housing then put it all back together.
hope this helps

SOURCE: What "Printer" to choose?
Your pronter should have come with a driver disk. You should disconnect your printer from the computer and run the installation from the disk. When prompted, connect the printer to the computer to complete the installation.

SOURCE: Kodak Easy Share Back Web Error
It sounds to me that you have the backweb (virus) on your pc
and its trying to run,and therefore you are recieving the error
First thing is...Enter ADD/REMOVE programs and see if any program is related to,or is backweb and remove it...Then enter the TASK MANAGER and see if it is running, and end the process IF it exists...Then proceed to C:PROGRAM FILES-and look for a sneaky folder called,i think it was DESK MANAGER,and click on it and read it contents to make sure it backweb related and remove it...
You might have to reboot and enter safe mode if it gets stuborn to remove it..Finally enter the registry and, when you press the CTRL>F keys and recieve the search menu,Type in backweb, and remove the keys...When the search comes back as finish searching through the registry with no results,i would reboot your pc a few times and re-enter the registry, and re-search the back web keys to make sure that windows didn't forget a few.
If that doesn't work you may have to actually go into the registry and delete the files associated with back web that way. If you are computer savvy then you might want to find someone else to do this as it can be quite tricky. You don't want to take anything off that should be in there.
Another route you can take is to restore your computer to an earlier date. Let me know if you need directions on how to do this.
