There is a lot of info on Fixya website about this. Just Google search:
Xpsp sp3 qfe 130704 0421 I did not read through the responses, but if your problem is not among those addressed, try booting to safe mode, and see if you can correct the problem (F8 during post sequence). If you are unable to restore to an earlier Windows configuration that works (or if it still will not boot), I would suggest you reset bios to default (Press Del upon post, or F1 on some machines). Select default settings (listed differently for different bios configs), and follow directions (usually press F10 to save). I hope this helps you resolve your problem. Your problem could be OS (sometimes repaired by the first method), or bios config (repaired by the second method).

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

No booting Win Xp sp3

Your laptop is trying to find a bootfile on the network and not finding one! ~This either means it's not seeing your hard drive, your hard drive hasn't got a bootfile on it, or your bios settings for booting have somehow got messed up.

My acer aspire crashed during Erecovery, now everytime it reboots, i get an error message, telling me it has to restart everytime, ive tryed using a boot disk but still refusing to work

Did you tried to change the boot sequence first? seems to me a driver and hardware communication problem. Check your cd drive if some disc was been left.

Computer comes on, shows a blue screen, and restarts on it's own.

Try to boot into Safe Mode.

If you're able to, let me know and we'll go from there.

XP-Pro Crash

I don't know why but some systems which have XP (SP1 or SP2) simply can't take the upgrade to SP3. Your system appears to be one of them. For instance our family's computer had XP SP2 and upon upgrading to SP3 we received a fatal crash while XP was loading into normal operating mode.

I managed to resolve the issue by booting to safe mode and restoring the system to a date before I installed SP3. Sorry that the new SP doesn't work for you.

Laptop ip stuck on same nr

You can release and renew the IP.

Go to command prompt and enter ipconfig /release, press enter

and then type ipconfig /renew, press enter

see if it works.
(note:there is a space between ipconfig and the /)

I would start by popping in the XP disk and getting in to recovery console (R at the first screen). Once there, run these commands:

fixboot c:
fixmbr
exit

This will rewrite the boot sector and master boot record on your drive. The "operating system not found" typically only happens when the boot sector is messed up. If that works and Windows loads, click Start -> Run and type

eventvwr

Click System on the left pane and, on the right side, click Source. Go to the "D" section and see if you have disk errors. It's a good bet that if your boot sector gets compromised, you're hard drive is about to crash and disk errors are being logged.

HP Photosmart 7450 crashes my computer

Your computer crashing several times a day is the bigger issue here. You need to resolve this first. Update your OS software, your disk probably should be wiped, reformatted and reinstalled cleanly. After that, I suspect that your printer problems will go away.

Always freeze

Firefox will use a lot of disk space over time for temporary use. You might try starting up and run the Disk Utilities program to repair disk permissions.
