Hi, if you cannot find receipt/invoice wallmart might have a copy of it. If you paid through a credit/debit card then a record of the transaction should be on it. Maybe this can be produced as evidence of purchase.
I believe wallmart are a reasonable company who should deal with your issue in an appropriate manner if you approach them.
Take a photo of the received items. Get back to the supplier and tell them you are missing one item. You can also stop payment of this invoice by blocking the check (cheque); blocking the vendor on your credit card or advising paypal of this incident. Ask for a refund if you are not happy with response. The item may have been stolen during delivery process. Good luck.
As what I always advise you guys, DO NOT POST THESE INVOICE NUMBER OVER THE INTERNET. These receipts can be used as reference to your orders or services with PayPal. Here, contact them as soon as possible and provide these number to those people. Here's their number 888-221-1161 to reach a live person say "customer service".

NO THAT IS ILLEGAL - do you have your tax records from that year still....YOU SHOULD.....lol... but find out what credit card you paid for it with, hopefully you paid with that. you can have your credit card company track it down - they will!. and they can give you a receipt then you have something to show microsoft - they will have to let you download it as you already paid for it - and or they will give you a serial number. if you didnt do this from a certified retailer - they might not - but in most instances they will. Hope this helped. Proof is the only key !
If you are paying your sales tax by invoice date - the payments will not affect your liablity. ie you owe the whole amount of sales tax as of the date of the invoice. If you are paying sales tax as of the time of payment. You will owe sales tax at the time you receive payment.
Since you are using progress invoicing, the sales tax would be come due at the time of the invoice. If you are just receiving payments, you would receive payments (as you would with any customer, and not invoice until time of completion. You would just need to make sure that your preference for sales tax due date is set to Invoice date, not time of payment.
Under Creat Statements, change your "Statement Period" dates to include last months invoices for the rent. Once you have don that, and picked your customer to send the invoice to, then click on preview. This should show you the statement and should have the right charges on it if they were invoiced.
