How do I delete contacts from sim card

copy the contacts on the sim card to a sd card in the phone. If you don't have one, get one and put it in the phone. Set up the memory in the phone to both sim and memory card. Copy the contacts onto the memory card. Remove the memory card and then go about deleting the contact list in the phone. Put the memory card back in the phone and set the memory in the phone touse the memory card only...not the sim. You're done.

Nokia N73 - problem, memory full please delete some data or application

remove your memory card if there is any, and follow the following steps.
but before, do you have any contacts saved on the phone memory, if yes, first back them up onto your memory card. go> contacts >options> copy all > memory card.
after backing up contacts,
- power off mobile
- press *,3 and call button all at same time and power up mobile.
- keep pressing the three buttons for about 2minutes
-release them and wait for mobile to start full.
- Your problem should be solved
- put back memory card and restore your contacts.

Unable to fully restore the details

there might have some missing cab files on your software, try to reformat it again , remove the sim card and memory card then try this :

turn on your unit with out sim card and memory card

type:

*#7370#

that will restore it to its original state

but before you do this make sure that you've back up your files to the memory card so that you put it back again once you are finish..

see if it works, if NOT

bring it to service center, it gonna need flashing ...this procedure needs special equipments

Tranfering contacts to another phone

the n95 saves the contact in a file format that allows the device to "back up" the contacts. The device that you are switching to must have this same feature otherwise it wont work that way. you will be better off copying the numbers to your sim card and simply placing that sim card in your new device. or you can try to transfer them through bluetooth

How to delete phone memory from a nokia 6070

Hi-

To delete all the contacts and the details attached to them from the phone or SIM card memory, select Menu >
Contacts > Delete all contacts > From phone mem. or From SIM card. Confirm with the security code.
To delete a contact, search for the desired contact, and select Options > Delete contact.
To delete a number, text item, or an image attached to the contact, search for the contact, and select Details.
Scroll to the desired detail, and select Options > Delete > Delete number, Delete detail, or Delete image.
Deleting an image from contacts does not delete it from Gallery.

Pls rate as fixya if it helps, THANKS!
