SOURCE: DRYER BLOWING COLD AIR-NOT HEATING UP

Gas valve coils Watch the igniter. Does it glow bright orange, then shut off without igniting the gas? (When the gas ignites there's a large blue flame.) If so, there may be defective coils on the gas valve. Mounted on the top of modern gas valves, there are black electrical coils. The coils, when energized, open the gas valve. If one or more of the coils are defective, the valve doesn't open and the gas cannot ignite. Because it's often difficult to properly test the coils, it's usually best to replace both (all) of them at the same time.

I hope this helps....

SOURCE: kenmore model 76712 does not blow heat just cold air

The following link explains how to troubleshoot and dryer "no heat" problem and the common causes:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r630242-dryer_runs_but_not_heat

Read through the link thoroughly, paying particular attention to the section that discusses proper ventilation. Most dryer heat related problems are caused by insufficient air flow which, in turn, causes the dryer to overheat to failure. More commonly, the Thermal Cut-Off (TCO) fails. You will need to check all the components mentioned in order to be sure. If you haven't had your dryer ventilation cleaned or inspected in a while, now would be a good time to do so. Failure to correct any potential existing problems, can cause premature failure of any parts you replace.

If you have questions, or require additional assistance, please let me know, so I can provide you with a viable solution. i hope this helps you.

SOURCE: my kenmore dryer is blowing out cold air

Make sure that both poles of your circuit are live - An electric dryer uses 220 volts to the heating element, but taps into only one pole (110 volt) for the motor that spins the drum. Check your circuit breaker to make sure that neither pole has tripped.

Candy CIC60 User Instructions
If all else fails, read the above.
Hummmm....
An Electrician might be needed. If you house is under warranty, you should read the fine print. Here is why.

It is possible that the breaker and/or wiring is under rated or defective. Check the amp draw rating on the breaker an compare it to the requirements of the drier. Installation / Operation link above If the drier is using the full amount of the breaker it will eventually weaken and fail to hold the load for as long as it did when new.

An experienced electrician will be able to determine if this is the case. Actual current draw should be measured while drier is in operation.
Replacing the breaker with a new one should fix it in that case.

Worst case would be that the wiring and the breaker are not of sufficient size to handle the load. This would be a HOUSE FIRE RISK as the wire is acting as a heating element. Again an electrician can make this determination by measuring the voltage drop of the wire from breaker to drier.
In the instructions included above, there is a phone number to the Manufacturer.

Fan oven blowing cold

The fan inside an oven is usually for convection cooking. It circulates air that is already heated. It is not a heater.
