Question about Acer Predator G7760 Desktop Pc Intel Core I7-2600K, Ram 16Gb, Hdd 3Tb, 2X Nvidia Gtx 580, Blu-Ray, Windows 7 Home Premium
Acer predator will not boot
When you turn on the power are there any sounds or lights coming? If not It sounds like a power supply problem, which is quite common. You need to get a tech to check its outputs. A replacement one is not too expensive and fairly simple to fit, but you need advice to get a quality one

Testimonial: "The PSU powers up the fan on the cooler spins up the lights on the case power up and I can open the dvd drives ect, one thing if I disconnect the power to the crossfire gfx cards the fans spin faster, I have tried removing all hard drives ram ect and going back to a very basic set up with out any change, the unit powers up but there are not any of the usual clicks ect from the hard drives (normal ones) and the unit stays in a state before it loads the bios and monitor says that it is not connected. I have pressed the clear coms button with out any change."
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

I just recently have reinstalled window XP Prof on Acer Aspire T180 with Window Vista originally. Every hardware works fine. I downloaded all the drivers for Window XP from Acer website. However, the PC just keeps hang up on me after 2-10 minutes after boot up. I have to Power cycles it to get it starts again. Any helps will be appreciated. Thanks

reseat ram for a fast beeping and disconnect the power supply both the big and 4 pin connectors for 2-5 min plug in and boot. Plus you do not have to have pairs of mem only if you wand double data rate

Unplug all USB devices as it may be trying to boot from a USB drive.
If you don't have USB drives plugged in try booting into the BIOS to see if the computer is booting that far. Restart the computer and keep hitting the DEL button, that should get you into the BIOS.

sounds like hardware. Either something on the board or the hard drive has failed. You might try putting a windows OS disk into the drive and try booting to see if it will read it and try to boot from CD. I guess it could be video card. Double check all the cables are connected.
