It's not on the body but on the finder. Assuming the finder has one, it'll be on the right side (as viewed from the back). See pages 13-15 of the manual available from

How do I set the ASA speed on this camera?

Cannot see where you included the camera name nor model. Still, many film SLR have do not have a way to set the ASA, it reads the film cartridge, DX Code, that tells the camera the ASA to use.

How to set asa on nikon 5005

If the film has the DX coding on the can then the camera automatically sets the film speed. If the can is not coded then the camera automatically sets the ASA/ISO to 100, and there is no way to override this.

No asa setting , how do I set the camera?

Is there a row of electrical contacts inside the camera's film chamber where the film canister goes? If so, then the camera automatically reads the ASA or ISO value from bare metal areas on the outside of the film canister.

How do i increase or decrease my power on my metz 60-ct?

The dial on the top does nothing to the flash. It's just a guide, like a simple ruler.

You just set your ASA/ISO (Yellow Line) to Orange DIN/ASA Number to match your camera's ASA/ISO.
Then just read those Scale of F Stops to outside to get FT/M (Feet or Meter).

The true meter from flash is on Handle of flash:
Set Orange Horizontal Line to ASA/ISO Number to match camera.
Set Left Slider, push up & down, to the F Stop that you wanted to shoot.
You have 6 Auto Sensor F Stops
1 for M (Motordrive)
1 for W (Winder)

Hope they are helpful on all photographers using Metz 60CT-1 Flash.

Alert light in f4 is apearing

I too had this problem. I had owned the F4s from new but only lightly used it. A single shot only then the red light flashing. Nothing I tried corrected this inc changing batteries, resetting DX / ASA setting etc. Even opening the camera back to ensure the film was feeding (one cause) and finally running an old film through on the fastest drive speed. Eventually I had to take the camera to a Nikon repair agent who charged me £230. On the first shot when I got it back the same happened. Naturally it went straight back and they kept it for another 3 weeks. I now have it back and it's OK (so far). I still did not get a satisfactory answer to what was wrong but I was told the top and bottom drives had been rebuilt. Sorry this is not a quick fix but I don't think there is one. to hThere is nothing in any of the books or manuals to help or even mention it. best wishes Brian
