Question about HP Pavilion dv9000z Notebook
As i understand the issue you tell me that the wireless button works... But you cannot connect to the internet....Check if you can connect with the help of a wired connection... If u can then check the light on the wireless key if it is amber or blue in colour if it is blue then uninstall the driver of thw wireless card it will be under network adapters in the Device Manager... Shut down the system and then restart it allow the driver to be installed on it's own.....Check if you can connect to the Internet...........otherwise follw these steps.....If no programs can connect to the internet then....Check if the ISP Account is currently active... If it is Broadband then check if the lights appear to be normal, or the lights are on and you are unsure of what they are normally....Check if Another computer can connect.. If it can then Run the Windows Network Diagnostics by clicking Start - Help & Support - Troubleshooting Tools - Internet Tools - Diagnose Internet Connection.. Check what options are you getting..... Click Start - All Programs - Accessories - Right click on Command Prompt and select Run As Administrator......A Black Window will open and we need to type in ipconfig.. Check the IPV4 Address.... Check if it is a valid IP Address or not...You need to get back to me for the further steps
