I need a serial number for a women 's Cartier watch I bought. I am not sure if it is authentic or not.

Take it to a jeweller and they will tell you free of charge. They can tell as soon as they take the back off.

There are resources in the main link to help you, but removing the back and having an expert look is the only way. China is making lots, but they have a cheap Chinese watch movement inside them.

It can be quite difficult to tell fake Cartier watches from genuine Cartier watches, but there are a few guidelines you can follow:
Inscription The simplest way to tell a fake Cartier watch is to remove the caseback. A genuine Cartier watch will have "Cartier" inscribed on the movement.
Weight Like most luxury accessories, genuine Cartier watches are quite heavy, especially when compared to the lightweight fakes. This solid weight is due to the watch's quality materials.
Glass A genuine Cartier watch has scratch-proof glass, which won't be found on the fakes. This is something that's fairly easy to test. The sapphire-quality glass of a genuine Cartier is also non-smear, so if you drop a few beads of water on it, they will roll off. On fake Cartiers it will smear.
Cabochon stone The winder of a genuine Cartier watch features a polished gemstone, called a cabochon stone. If there's no stone, it's a fake Cartier watch. The gem should be securely fastened, not glued on.
Serial Number This should appear on the back or side of a genuine Cartier. The number will be engraved as a number of fake Cartiers feature a serial number that's barely etched onto the watch.

Fake or not 18kgold bulova swiss made also says 18k gold plated

it will not be a gold watch as it states gold plated
that is to say that it has a coating of gold electroplated to the base metal and will be about 2 microns thick
check with a jeweller for the fake or not.

I have bought a tag heuer aquaracer calibre 5 500m waj2150. Serial number xx0096 13 . It looks the real deal and I think it is even maybe a real case with 18k rose gold. But I can't seem to find one with...

Where did you buy it? That will answer most of your questions. Main test of a fake is water proofing and longevity. Fake watches are not water proof. And do not last very long.

I bought mk-5019 yesterday. I wore it for a couple of hours. Today I noticed it somehow started changing that golden colour on the bracelet, so i really don't like it now. It looks like it's a fake watch...

unfortunately, it can be. its not gold, only a finish. and if you have a chemical in your skin that reacts to the chemicals in the gold tone finish it can wear off very quickly. Do you also get that green around your finger from a fake ring? or black on your earlobe hole from earrings? return the watch to where it was bought.

I have a 2-tone pierre cardin diamond watch and the gold already faded. was it a fake?

Gold does not "fade" but if it is very thin plating, then it may wear off.

This make tends to be expensive; if you did not pay a high price for it, then it seem likely be a fake.

How do yo know if a rolex is a fake

Tough question as the counterfeiters are getting better and better. First check the case and band. Rolex used stainless steel , gold or platinum. Many fakes are plated, base metal which doesn't look the same as the real thing. If the seconds hand hesitates at each tick, it is 99.9% sure to be fake. Check between the watchband lugs on the watch. The serial number will be between the 6:00 lugs and the case (model) number will be between the 12:00 lugs. The only sure way is to take the back off and look at the movement. Best left to the professionals

Bought rolex yacht masater 18k white gold on ebay

Jimmy, Put a Paypal Dispute IMMEDIATELY!!!

also go to search > advance search > get member contact info

How much did you pay? the watch is guaranteed a fake. When Fake watches are made they are all marked 18k because they do not make different parts for ones that are going to be stainless steel and ones that are going to be gold plated.

Is my cartier watch real or fake

You can distinguish real or fake.the real is heavy than the fake, fake is lighter.the color the real one is not to shine is dull, the fake is very shiney compare to real, the metal they use the real uses stainless, titanium and gold. The fake is nickel plate or zinc metal.the engraving the real is deep seated engraving, the fake is on the top only not so deep.I can't say your watch is real or fake, basing on serial number, the emitator can emitate the number.I gave you a tip how you know the real or fake.
