SOURCE: On and off picture and color weak Sanyo HT30744

I'll weigh in here with my problem and how I fixed it. My Sanyo HT30744 had a fluctuating picture. In random order, it would go from bright red to bright green, then sometimes the picture would be very weak and fuzzy/unclear. Sometimes after an hour or so, the picture would become perfectly clear again. Over time the TV got worse, until it almost never became clear again. We only turned it on to listen to the news on occasion. Eventually I decided to take it apart and see if there was anything obviously wrong with it. When I opened it up, the first thing I noticed was how dusty it was. From previous problems with my computer, I remembered that just blowing off the dust (or carefully vacuuming it off) would fix the computer display/operation. So I tried it with this TV.......and now it works perfectly fine. My theory is this: with circuit boards being manufactured with circuits placed so close together, it's just a matter of time before dust begins to accumulate and eventually creates a "bridge" or short across nearby circuits. Essentially the accumulated dust (regardless of how poor of a conductor it may be) provides enough of a connection across the wrong circuits that it disrupts the operation. I have vacuumed out my computer motherboard, power supply, etc numerous times when it starts acting up and it has never failed to fix the problem. So I tried it with this TV and that did the trick too! It's easy to remove the black cover behind the screen. It's just 8 or 10 screws (don't forget the 2 little screws around the cable/coax input). Then carefully slide back the cover. Once you pull it back far enough you can disconnect anything that is tied to it (there wasn't anything on mine except for a zip tie holding a cable), then move it out of the way. Then you can slide out the bottom circuit board so you can clean it. It's very easy to do, just be careful, gentle and be sure to ground yourself before touching any circuits. If you live in a dusty environment or notice a lot of dust building up around the air vents on the black cover, this could be your problem. You really don't have much to lose. You just might fix it for no cost! Good luck!

Why does my camera not capture any picture? Whichever mode I use, it does not capture any picture regardless of how many times I click the button.

Flash flicker is the camera trying to get enough light to focus, It occurs when you press the shutter release part of the way down.
Try the same thing outside, ensure you press the shutter real ease all the way down. If it still does not fire, switch the lens to manual focus (sliding switch on the side of the lens, move from A to M) If the camera shoot then, the camera is struggling to auto focus.

Rca 42in full hd lcd picture flickers

If the picture on your TV flickers, there may be a simple fix. Here are some possible answers and suggested solutions:

1. Your set-top box may need a simple reboot. Unplug the power connection to the set-top box for about 30 seconds. Reconnect the power and turn the set-top box back on.

2. Check all of your cables for a loose connection by tightening each one with your fingers.Flickers can sometimes be caused by bends in rigid cables, too.

3. If your picture flickers to a black or blue screen, you could have a bad set-top box. Contact your cable or satellite service provider about installing a new one.

4. If you still have audio, the flickering could also mean that you have a failing backlight.

For additional troubleshooting information, check out the chart at TV flickering for more solutions. I hope this helps!

Picture Flickering

The sony tuners have been known to get intermittent, it might be a bad ground where the tuner connects to the main chasis, If the problem is in the tuner itself it will be most difficult to resolve since the connections are so small and compacted together.
Good luck

Screen black in all lighting. Icons and menu show and can view photos already on card, but screen black in all modes. Can take picture, but it is also black. Lens cover is open. Nikon Coolpix 4600. Thanks...

Hello, I went and researched a few points in the manual and hope this helps to some extent. If this doesn't help, try resetting your camera by removing the batteries for 30 seconds, then reinstalling them and turning on the camera again.
Monitor is blank:
• Camera is off.
• Batteries are not correctly inserted or battery-chamber
cover is not properly latched.
• Batteries are exhausted.
• EH-62B AC adapter (available separately) is not properly
connected.
• Camera is in sleep mode. Press shutter-release button
halfway.
• Monitor is off.
• USB cable is connected.
• AV/Video cable is connected

No picture is taken when shutter release button is pressed:

• Camera is in playback mode.
• Batteries are exhausted.
• Red (!) lamp flickers: flash is charging.
• Green (AF) lamp flickers: camera unable to focus.
• Message "CARD IS NOT FORMATTED" appears in
monitor: memory card is not formatted for use in your
camera.
• Message "OUT OF MEMORY" appears in monitor:
insufficient memory to record picture at current Image
mode setting.
