Why won't MX 900 turn on even after putting in new batteries

The obvious question here is: are the batteries installed the correct way? Here is a web page to download the operator manual:

Also; are your batteries good? are they making good contact? Has the remote been damaged by leaking batteries? Inspect and test.

Do you have the original remote controls for the devices you are trying to control? If so... do they work? Remember... they will need batteries too!

Are there manual switches on the device you want to control? Do they work? Can you turn it on and off?

We are moving through a process to identify which items work, which are good and which are faulty.

How do I free up the volume control that is sticking?

Take controller apart by undoing screw inside battery compartment and then prise apart starting at battery end using a flat head screwdriver. It is not glued together so with a little effort it will come apart. clean all components especially behind the rubber buttons and on top of the circuit board, then put back together. I had to cut the rubber buttons into sections removing a small slither because the rubber seemed tho have stretched and would not sit flat. Now controller works like new.

Hi, I have a Manhattan Line Interactive UPS Model #168120 that needs a new battery. Is it replaceable in this unit? Thanks.

The battery is listed as replaceable. However, Manhattan indicates that the battery is not user-servicable. Since the company no longer seems to sell any UPS, getting it serviced may not be possible.

A copy of the manual is available here: . The relevant section is part of the trouble-shooting guide: "The battery is old or bad. Return for service."

I wish that I had better news for you.

TORO 51464 Electric trimmer battery: can it be changed?

Yes you can replace the original battery. It is recommended you have it done by and Authorized Service Dealer.

When the battery no longer holds a charge, you can purchase a new battery and have it installed at your
Authorized Service Dealer. If you want to discard the trimmer, remove and recycle the battery before
discarding the trimmer.

1. Remove the 2 bolts and nuts securing the trimmer handle section to the black center section.

2. Remove the 6 screws securing the two halves of the handle section together and pull the halves apart.
3. Remove the battery and disconnect it from the wire leads.

4. Discard the trimmer.

5. Recycle the lead-acid battery according to local codes.

Is there a way to tell two cannon batteries apart. I just bought a new canon battery and forgot to mark it so I would know which one was the new one and now I don't know which one is which? One has the...

Since they aren't OEM batteries, the only solution is to see the capacity.
Charge battery1, put it in the camcorder, see how many minutes of recording you get.
Do the same for battery2.

Assuming the batteries had the same original capacity and one has a significant number of charge cycles (say, at least 50) the one with more minutes is the newer one. After about 300 cycles, the batteries will be at approx 80% of the original capacity, so you need 50 to 100 cycles on the "old" one to have a significant difference in the energy capacity.

For how long the battery should be charged in the begining, when you buy NOKIA 5130c-2?

most batteries have residue power when you buy them... put them on and wait till if is fully exhausted, then charge overnight... succeeding charging should not be overcharged... this will make your battery last long (maybe 2 years, but 1 year is already good, assuming you have the original battery)

please read fully your manual which comes along with it... look for batteries section.... my answer might be different, so follow your manual...
