Step 1: The beeps are post during post the very first work is done by the ram, all the memory in the ram is first transferred to the hard disk, and remains 1 short beep : Normal POST - system is ok 2 short beeps : POST Error - error code shown on screen
No beep : Power supply or system board problem Continuous beep: Power supply, system board, or keyboard problem
Repeating short beeps: Power supply or system board problem
1 long, 1 short beep : System board problem 1 long, 2 short beeps: Display adapter problem (MDA, CGA) 1 long, 3 short beeps: Enhanced Graphics Adapter (EGA) 3 long beeps : keyboard cardhttp://www.pchell.com/hardware/beepcodes.shtml
Beeps usually mean that the bios detected a problem with the hardware. It could be the processor, memory, video card, or something else. It all depends on how long or short the beeps are and in what sequence they are in.
If you could respond with the length and sequence of the beeps, a more definitive soloution can be reached.
when i power on my laptop the acer logo screen is displayed on screen then the computer start beeping and the laptop get struck.i replaced the ram but the same problem arise.I removed the ram but the laptop wont startup and no beeping sound. When beeping start the laptop cooling fan get stopped.
It depends on the actual model number (that you didn't supply), but most Kenmore F7 errors indicate a bad keypad or bad control panel. If you unplug the ribbon cable from the keypad to the panel then plug the oven back in and it starts beeping again, it's a bad control panel, if it doesn't beep anymore, it's a bad keypad.
This is probably a problem with your DIMM(RAM)
Did u recently install an extra RAM?If yes then remove it because the beep sound is due to the mismatch of frequency of two DIMM's. If not open your computer and check if the DIMM is loose just push it in and powerup your comp..Let me know if its fixed..
