I have seen some terrible installations in the field. If the granite was installed after the dryer, there is the possibility of the granite resting directly on the dry or possibly glued to it. You mentioned having lowered the legs, so I believe you meant the front legs since the rears are not accessible. I would take 2 wire coat hangers and put one around each leg. Then you can pull on them "wiggling" the unit left and right, up and down, while someone is also pulling at the top INSIDE of dryer door opening (drum).
If you are able to get this thing out, make sure you make all necessary corrections to the install.
If you are talking about a gap caused by the height of the stove, You can lower the height of the stove by adjusting the threaded leg posts on the bottom of the stove. A more difficult fix would be in raise the height of the countertop and cabinets by shimming the bottom of the cabinets.
If your gap is not a height issue, then you can experiment with some type of trim around the stove itself. Local granite dealers has an assortment of trims for issues like this.
I was able to find a number of trims for a back gap on my granite countertops and backsplash from my local European Marble and Granite.
Shortening chairs is a very delicate process but can be doneif you have the right tools. You can usean electric sander to shave off length, one leg at a time. Once you are satisfied that they legs are allthe same length, you can cover them with protective pads.
Hello, This dishwasher has the ability to be mounted to the cabinets on either side of the dishwasher.the mounting brackets can be moved to each side. If it must be mounted to the counter top, the mounting tabs can be bent by hand and it will break the front part of the mounting tab. This will shorten the mounting bracket. If you have granite counter tops do not attempt to drill into to the granite counter call a granite fabicator. The leveling feet are hexagon shaped at the top of the of the leveling leg. Remove the front lower toe kick panel. This will allow access to the top of the leveling legs, then use a small cresent wrench or a socket and rachet.Hope this helps.Joe Connolly
Jal Check with your provider and ask them for a pair of Elevated Leg rests for your chair. They might have to install the holders for the leg rests but that is an easy job. And they are fairly inexpensive and can be put on and taken off easily. Hope this helps you
• Purchase and install the GPF65 side-mount
bracket kit if the underside of counter is granite
or a similar material that will not accept wood
screws. The GPF65 kit is available from authorized
GE appliance dealers.
Also note that any stainless steel tub models would be able to accomadate granite tops without a kit, and I beleive all Profile GE models come with the kit included.
