The filter compartment is at the front bottom of your indoor section of the air conditioner.

There should be an access plate located there and may have a 5/16" screw on each side you need to remove to get the access cover off.

An air filter should be visible, and you should slide the filter out toward you for removal.

SOURCE: How to change the filter ?

Your filter is in one of two places.

Either its in a filter grille or its at the furnace/air handler itself. If its in the grille, simply remove and replace.

If its in the unit, it will be at one far end of the unit opposite where the electrical connections are. It's uncommon for Goodman to be filtered at the unit as they do not have an independent filter access panel but I have seen it.

If its not in either of these locations, you either do not have a filter installed or your installing contractor has installed a filter box somewhere that will need to be located.

Hope this helps.

Changing the air filter on a goodman model # gpg13300701bb outdoor gas AC unit

There should be a panel to remove without needing to remove any screws. Or a panel that states AIR FILTERS. If not, you'll need to remove panel by panel, near the part of the unit where the ductwork connects. If no ductwork connects to the side discharge panels, start farthest away from the o.d. fan motor section. Turn off line voltage power first! Electricity and moving parts are inside and may cause bodily harm or injury. I normally install "Gas Packs" with a filter grille or filter base in duct for easy filter maintenance.

How can I make the ac quieter inside the house?

If you have hard ducts, you can use some flex duct between the supply plenum and the hard ducts as a way to quiet the noise down.

I have a goodman heater and ac unit ,two stage ,problem the heat not very hot, feels more like luke warm.is there any way to addjust this.

Usually this is due to restricted air flow. So check the filter and ac coil (above the furnace) for filth and debris. Secondly adjusting the blower off delay dip switch on the circuit board could help some. Probably want to change it to a lower setting. Good Luck! :)

Hi I have commercial hvac goodman unit and trying to change my filter, but i have no idea where the filter is located. the model number is GPG13480903AB

On this package unit, there are no places for filters inside the unit itself unless a technician rigged something up to accept one, but not a common thing at all. These units will use filter return grills inside the building. They are usually 2x2 grills on a dropped ceiling grid or could have a filter grill located right off the return plenum from the unit. Either way, it should be inside somewhere and easy to access. Hope this steers you in the right direction and good luck!

Need to Know Where to Change the Furnace Filter

On the bottom of the indoor unit should be a cover or tray. Sometimes a large grill inside the house, close to the unit is where they are placed. Good luck

I just turned on my ac for the first time this year. I found leaking on my carpet. I had to change my filter and found ice on my pipes. also the area around the unit was damp. Did i fix the problem by...

The ice buildup comes from low refrigerant or poor airflow.
Is your indoor fan runnig OK?
Are your evaporator coils clean of dust and dirt?
If fan is good and coils are clean, call a service tech to check your refrigerant charge.
