Question about Sony NWZ-E436F MP3 Player
I have the same problem with my Sony E436F Walkan. Fully charged. Will not stay on and create libray. Just shuts down after a second. This is the second one of these I have had that has done this. The first one was replaced under warranty. Now the second one has died.
If you purchased the Walkman in the U.S.
Try installing the Firmware in the Walkman.'
You won't be able to download and install the Firmware in the Walkman if 64 bit Operating System is installed in the Computer.
I will forward a link to a page where you can download the Firmware update for the Walkman.
Please go through the page and read all the instructions before installing the Firmware update in the Walkman.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
