Sounds like the connection from the phone and ur touch screen is loose. Would suggest getting a technician to fix it. There are online resources that also show you how to do it.

This can be caused by a lack of memory.
Please take a full back up of the phone and check if there is any new firmware updates available. This is possible through the OVI suite on the pc or by using the SW updates(if that is not present in the phone then dial *#0000#, and say options -> check for updates. THIS WILL REQUIRE A DATA CONNECTION).
The newer firmwares are known to have more free memory.
Also another suggestion would be to move message memory to the memory card. This can be done by going to Messaging ->options -> settings ->other -> memory in use (change that to memory card)
