I have a 2006 gmc sierra 1500 I have an aftermarket jvc touch screen deck in it it has the bose system in it but the guy who owned it before me deleted the bose amplifier under the center console I am getting no power to the new deck I am trying to install the previous one had power but no sound and all the fuses look good

You have to unplug the old radio. The radio isn't the part in the dash. That is just the control to the radio. The radio is actually under the dash above the accelerator pedal. It should have the power wires, speaker wires and antenna wire going to it.

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Remove the clips and screws securing the old window to the arm and slide it out through the top of the door (may need to be maneuvered out)

May want to look at replacing the wiper circuit board.It is located on the firewall adjacent to the wiper motor and has a some what square black cover with 3 torx screws and wireing harness pluged into the side.We had a truck that every time you washed it the wipers would stay on until it dryed out.You can try removing it and spaying it down with contact cleaner just watch the brease on the two contact tips.Well hope this helps.
