Red light is on but the tv wont work

Unplug tv, open the back and vacuum all dust that you can see... also remove the power supply board and brush/vacuum the back side. Hold any metal part while you're vacumming to eliminate the effect of static electricity. Good luck.

When turing on tv there no picture but there a green or orange light keep flashing on the button that turn on the t.v

Unplug the TV, wait 5 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
This is a common problem but Panasonic is not very helpful.
You have to remove the back panel on the bottom. Use compress air to blow out all the dust inside. (wear a dust mask).

We cleaned the dust off the fans and TV now works fine. Hardest part was getting the TV down and the back off to get to them. Thanks.

I have a Panasonic PT-50DL54J DLP projection TV. It suffers from a shut down problem. Shortly after powering up, the TV shuts off, and the front LED flashes red 6 times. At this point, the TV will not...

I have similar problems. I removed the back panel and use compressed air to blow out all the dust from all the components. Just remember not to blow into the main fan on the right as that is the one cooling the lamp. I don't know for sure if this is the only problem.
Dust built up caused heat built up on the components.

Replace lamp led light

Have you reset the lamp timer?
Was the lamp module sitted properly?
Remove the back panel and vacuum all the dust.
Also use compressed air to blow out the dust from the inside.
Do not blow into the fan on the right as that will get the dust inside the lamp housing.

Power on

Depends on how many times it flashes RED.
On the units with fans (usually the HD models) a 6 blink flash code indicates improper fan rotation and the unit will shut down.

These blinks are counted as they go DARK, not as they light up.

Remove the rear panel but do not clean out the dust from the fans until you see which has the improper rotation.

Cleaning may help once you find the baddie, if not they will need to be replaced.
