What is the speed range for moving our Miele Solaris S 514 horizontally over the carpet for optimum weekly dust removal?

When the dust is gone the speed is correct . You should use a back and forth movement so the rug fibers contact the machine efficiently. There is no perfect speed since the amount of dust in a carpet is not uniform. Hi traffic areas will require more time spent removing dirt than an area close to the wall here there is no foot traffic.

Dell inspiron one 2205 touchscreen overheating

Had a similar problem a non-touchscreen 2205 model. The cooling radiator was clogged with dust. You can unplug the power cable, remove the back cover and clean the dust out. I removed the cooling fan and used a toothbrush and vacuum to gently remove the dust matt from blocking the radiator. Use q-tips to gently clean the fan blades as well. Reattach the fan and the computer no longer overheated. By the way, Dell designed the 2205 with not enough ventilation. After cleaning. the CPU idle temperature ran at 39C with the back cover attached and only 29C with the back cover removed. The air flow intake for the cooling fan is taking in warm air due to the Hard drive heat being captured by the back cover.

Casing getting hot, fan going mad then slowing down

Have you ever removed the side panel and cleaned out the dust from inside the computer case?

If your fans or air inlets get clogged up with dust then your machine will run very hot and could eventually shut down or cause permanent damage.

Unplug all the cables from the back of your pc, and remove the 2 screws from the back panel that secure the side panel. Then just pull back on the side panel and it will pop off.

Clean out all the dust from inside the case. You can use a vacuum hose but don't bang into anything with it. Also use a small clean paint brush to lightly brush the dust off of the fan blades and the CPU heatsink and around the power supply air vents. You can also use a can of compressed air if you have it to dislodge the dust and then **** it up with the vacuum.

Good luck and please comment back and RATE if this was helpful.

Red light green light on off all time tv will not turn on

ok if you have just replaced the bulb, first try taking out the bulb unit and putting it back in, if you have already tried this, then disconnect everything from the TV unplug it find a nice sturdy place where you can place the tv, at the back of the tv remove the lower back panel ONLY, the screws you need to remove will have an arrow pointing to them, once removed clean all built up dust, remove cooling fan and clean from dust , check it spins ok, remove silver plate in the middle and remove any built up dust, just to the right of the fan there is a sensor unsrew and remove check it is free from dust, on the left of the fan is a micro switch unplug but do not pull on wires to the far right you will see a retainer bar upright (silver) remove this, gentley pull all the circuit board assembly back it will not come out far, on the back circuit board unplug the top two plugs top left but DO NOT pull on wires pull the circuitry board forward just a fraction more, and behind it is yet another multi plug, pull out the one to the left and plug back in but clear any dust in mean time, gently put everything back and plug all that you have unpluged back in gently, put all bars and covers back on, and re-install equip to tv........ this is what i did to mine when i had this probem today after bulb replacement and it now works fine

Bosch 3 x 21 Belt Sander

Remove the dust bag and unplug sander for now. Everywhere you see an access hole (fan area, dust port, back of sander blow thru the tool to remove lodged dust that clogged the system, Also look for broken belt pieces in the back of sander. Then while running (remove belt) blow again thru all the ports to try and reomve as much contamination as possible. When finished you can feel to see if air coming from dust bag port, it not you still have a clog that might need more work. If I have clarified your request would you please rate this response accordingly and thank you.

How do I clean the inside of the glass on the Epson 3490 Scanner?

Disconnect and remove the lid. Remove the two screws on the back of the base. Then use a screwdriver or flat blade to slightly open the back seam. Beginning at the back, run a blade up inside the upper part of the side seam. You will need to release three catches on each side. Once the sides are loose, raise the back of the top, while pushing forward, and the two snap catches at the front will release. The top then lifts off and you can clean the glass. Reassemble in reverse order.

Dust inside lense

Removing internal dust normally requires a full internal cleaning, lubrication and adjustment (CLA). Internal dust, if it is not a lot, will not affect picture quality at all. On many camera lenses you can stick the small tube on a can of compressed air into the back of the lens and a few moderate blasts may remove some of the internal dust. Yet this is not recommended since it is quite possible to accidentally dislodge focus cam or zoom cam grease and blow that grease onto a lens element or (worse) onto the aperture blades. So, the point is that mild to moderate amounts of internal dust won't affect your photos.

i believe it has 8 screws .. then vaccuum all the dust .. chances are the front and the back of the heating element is covered with dust ..
after that put all back together and i guaranteed it should work like brand new ,,,, dont worry its not that hard ... the only hard thing for me was removing the 2 triangle screws at the back .. Goodluck
