I am running currently Windows 7. I would like to change it because I want aero graphics.
Hi Good Day.
Can I know the name of your Existing Video Card?
If you have existing Video card and you want the New video card, like what you said. NVIDIA GeForce FX GoS700. you need to BUY the video card.

Hi, have you check the status of the video card in the window device manager.
1. Right clicking My Computer icon on your desktop
2. Select Manage option from menu
3. Select Device Manager
Please verify if there is any yellow color exclamation appears on the left side of your new video card adaptor. If so you need to install a driver. I am assuming your pc is running window xp and video card adaptor is window xp compatible.
Hope this help.

I worked on one of these pc's today, and even a PCI video card won't work in them. The onboard video cannot be disabled in the bios or via jumper on the motherboard, so it cannot be fully disabled--period. Disabling in the device manager does not work either as the hardware resources stay in use despite the device being inactive, so new cards cannot get the resources they need to activate. The card in my case was a Powercolor Radeon 9250 PCI.

SOURCE: Graphic Card Change
My opinion, the video card your going to change to would be a bit better cause it has more memory on it. Anytime you can get a video card that has more memory means it can process the information quicker so gameplay should be smoother.

You are correct about the Video card that is in the system from the Factory but what you need is the interface which is x16 PCI Express/ So just look for a graphics card with that same interface. I have also supplied a link to Newegg. They have Great deals on viedo cards and they make it easy to search for the one you want. http://www.kqzyfj.com/click-3380368-10440558

Yes of course. Decide what the VGA card is now and using the same format check out online or in stores for a better quality one.
