How to repair or replace sunvisor

Taping the 2 wires together is shorting them out and blowing the fuse, so disconnect them.
Now let me start off by telling you that I do not know anything about your particular vehicle, but I cant see it being much different from others, so lets see what I can do to help.
Obviously the 2 wires fed power to something electrical in the visor and I am guessing there is a mirror light fitted to it. Is there anything else electrical fitted to the visor? A controller button for example.
If you still have the ripped out visor open it up with a craft knife to see where the wires went to. Try reattaching the wires (make sure you connect same colors) to where they were ripped off and see if that makes everything work again.....no need to attach the visor into place, just testing the wiring for now.
If everything works again, then the problem will be that the wiring and what it connects to in the visor is part of the circuit and needs to be attached for everything to work without some major re-wiring. The easiest way is to get a replacement from a scrap or salvage yard as I guess a new one from Buick is very costly, if still available. The other route is to fully remove the electrical wires and connectors from the cut open visor, reattach to the 2 wires and try to tidy up the work as best you can.
Now for the bad news..... If when you tried connecting the 2 wires to the cut open visor nothing worked as it should, then either the visor was damaged when ripped out, in which case you will need to check out with a replacement one, or (and here is the really bad news) the wiring left behind (the 2 that you taped together) is damaged further into the loom and that is where the problem is. Exactly where, I do not know. It is also possible that taping the 2 wires together damaged something else, but don't beat yourself up about that as most people, myself included would probably have done the same thing.
Let me know if I have been of any help and good luck with it all.

Trying to remove alternator 2004 kia sodona

These are instructions that I found online. From reading them I am glad I have not yet had to replace the alternator on "MY" Sedona. Hope this helps as the KIA manual does not supply alternator R & R instructions. Good luck.

As for #5 I removed the front wheel and plastic panel when I had to replace "just" the serpentine belts and idler pulley.

1. Remove the terminal connections on the battery. Allow 30 minutes to pass for the airbags to automatically disable.

2. Remove the air filter intake. The air filter intake is the large plastic box above the radiator that is connected to the air filter housing. With the air filter intake removed, you can now remove the support beam above the radiator itself. You will have to use a Phillips screwdriver to remove a total of 10 screws from the support beam.

3. Place the large pan underneath the vehicle right under the radiator. Unplug the two radiator hoses that are connected to the radiator.

4. Remove the pipe that the radiator hoses were connected to. Remove both fans that are attached to the radiator by unscrewing the four screws holding each fan in place. This will allow access to the alternator itself.

5. Remove the serpentine belt by loosening the manual adjustment pulley held in place by two nuts. Use the socket wrench to remove the nuts and then remove the serpentine belt. Remove the support bar that connects the engine block to the alternator. Remove the 2 screws holding the support bar in place to remove it.

6. Remove the three bolts on the left side of the alternator. Disconnect the wire harness to the alternator by squeezing the tabs and pulling it out. Disconnect the hot connector by pulling it out. Pull the alternator out of the vehicle. Place the new alternator into the vehicle and reconnect the hot connector and wire harness to the alternator.

7. Reattach the support bar by reinstalling the two screws. Reattach the serpentine belt into the vehicle and tighten the manual adjustment pulley. Reattach the two nuts holding it into place.

8. Reattach the fans attached to the radiator. Make sure there are four screws for each fan to secure it into place. Reattach the pipe that the radiator hoses were connected to and reconnect the two hoses that were connected to the radiator.

9. Use all ten screws to reattach the black support beam above the radiator. Place the air filter intake back into the vehicle. Reconnect the terminal connections to the battery and close the hood.

Trying to remove rear door handle on chrysler lhs 99

Hello, to remove and replace the rear door try the following:

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery of your Chrysler LHS. You can accomplish this with an open end wrench, to prevent any injury or short in the electrical system as you are working on the door lock switch. Place the negative battery cable out of the way so it does not touch any metal parts.

2. Undo any screws that are holding the lower door panel to the door with a screwdriver. Unclip the plastic hold clips that are attached to the back of the panel by carefully pulling them away by hand.

3. Locate the electrical connector wires. These wires run behind the panel to the door arm rest and detach each wire connector by hand. Remember how the wires were attached so you can put them back the same way when it is time to reattach them.

4. Lower the door panel away from the door. Then, remove any screws holding the upper door panel in place. Remove the door handle pull cup that covers the door lock switch and door handle by carefully popping the cover off after you have removed the screws holding it in place.

5. Detach the upper door panel from the door. You can do this by pulling it away carefully from the plastic clips. Move the upper door panel out of the way and locate the door lock actuator switch. Remove the screws from the actuator switch that are holding it in place and disconnect the electrical wires attached to the back of the switch.

6. Replace the old door lock actuator switch with a new one. This replacement can occur by connecting the electrical wires to the back of the new switch and reattaching the switch to the door frame with screws. Put the upper door panel back in place, securing it to the door frame with plastic clips and screws.

7. Reattach the door handle pull cup to the upper door panel with screws. Then, put the lower door panel in place and reattach the electrical wires to the window switches underneath the armrest. Attach the lower door panel to the door frame with plastic clips and screws.

8. Attach the negative battery cable to the Chrysler LHS battery with the open end wrench.

Thanks

Everything works but the oven burner doesn't lit

Check the ignitor. It is the small "clicker" that lights the gas in the oven. If the wire connector is rusty, clean it and reattach and re-try. If that does not work, remove old ignitor and take it to your local appliance parts shop... Install a new one and enjoy your oven!! -Jim

Cracked screen

Cracked screens in the r707 is easy replacement. I just tend to swap screens from another r707 that has a lens issue. I have noticed that there is two types of LCDs in the r707 camera. One is easy type to replace because all it has is a serial cable that is attached circuit board. The other is a little harder because it has, besides the serial cable, two additional wires that are soldered to the board. The lcd is actually attached the black half of the camera's case. You will have to remove all of the screws and then remove the front (metallic) half of the camera. There are two cables that attached the camera circuit board. One is the LCD and the other is button/SD flash board; both of which are attached to the back half of the camera's case. Remove the back case and swap out the LCD and reattach everything in the reverse order of dissassembly.
