SOURCE: Zanussi front loader leaking

Most likely you have a pump shaft seal leaking you can buy a new pump at this site. You may remove the pump and clean with pool muratic acid, but it is very caustic you would have to put pump in the acid bath in a metal pan that you don't mind using it and it will eat all the organic buildup from the pump. However it may leak worse as the organic material may keep it from leaking too much. So I suggest you use the pump, if you use mueratic acid it is highly toxic so read directions on using it and were air mask and rubber gloves while using it then rinse off with clean water. You should put water hose in the drain pipe and tunrn on the water to test the drain pipe as well. this will make sure the drain pipe is fine. Look at the hoses near the clamps as this is where holes develop on the water pump hoses.

SOURCE: LG WM2355C water leaking under machine after washing finished.

I had this same problem and it was not the supply connections or filters! Under the machine is a rubber bellows. The bellows had sprung a leak. The part was about $10 from Sears and I repaired it in about 30 minutes. The machine is heavy so be careful. Get a friend to make sure the machine won't rock or tip when you're making the repair.

SOURCE: leaking water from washer with

It could be as simple as a lose hose clamp, or it could be a cracked water pump. You did not say what brand of washer you have. For most brands you can remove the back cover and inspect the hoses and water pump. You should be able to fix this problem with simple hand tools.

The water level never stops, it just fills till it over flows

if on auto level select water level eg medium or low depending on amount of clothes this sometimes works dont use auto water level. If not check small pipe under touch board on top panel, make sure u unplug mains from plug pipe may be loose its small plastic goes to level sensor on right of board. If not level sensor faulty.

Leaves in water

Check pipes are not blocked, to do this while you have water in machine, remove outlet pipe from drain, and place into a bowl so it is below the tub.If water does not come out then pipe is blocked. Whichever you need to do the following.
1 unplug machine, and remove the rear panel at the bottom, using a screwdriver.
2 If no water came out from pipe then directly below tub is a black pipe, this will need to be removed using fitting either grips or a screwdriver, depending on what fitting retains pipe to the tub.As you remove the pipe be carefull not to loose the ball inside pipe. This is like a ping pong ball. You can now check pipe.
If you did get waterr out from pipe at stage 1 then remove other end of this pipe, from the pump only. Then tilt machine and view under pump to see what holds it in place. Normally 2 scews. Remove these and lift pump away, be carefull of the 2 wires that go to pump. You can now check pump is clear. If it is then chances are you need a new pump. This will cost around £10.00 but you will need to use the front part from old pump. When refitting ensure pipes are fitted correct and you have no leaks. This is fairly easy to do yourself, just take time and look where screws are fitted to pump casing. I am sure you will do this no problem, so good luck. PS. most shops will charge around £45. if pump is blocked and anything from £45-£60 to fit a it is worth doing it yourself. Also you dont need a genuine hotpoint pump, just ask for an Askol pump.

Someone put washing powder in machine

First unplug the machine; open up behind to see if any of the hoses have come loose, tighten. Another place to look is the top of the machine where the water comes in, you hv to open the top to see if some hose there has come loose. Refit carefully. It is even possible that it leaks from where your filter is. Three places to check in all.

Water leaking from the bottom of the washer at the rear right corner!

firstly check that the inflow water pipes connected to the machine are connected correctly, feel around the pipes that touch the machine to see if there is any water. If there is the washers may need replacing on the pipe. Or the pipe may simply have got a bit loose through the machines spinning.
