Change the Brightness on Toshiba DX735 D3204. The Controls on the monitor do not respond when pressed.

If the remote is anything like a Television one then maybe via Menu or preset button for Picture adjustment i.e. to get to brightness adjustment.
If you find it and are able to control it via Remote than that would tell me that it's not the driver/software problem BUT something between buttons on the monitor and IC controller...BUT I'm curious do any buttons on the monitor work besides? Power on/off? if so then it really could be just a software bug.
either way good luck.

How to increase brightness of toshiba satelite m30 laptop

You should be able to adjust the brightness by holding down the function key (Fn) and then press the button that has a picture of the sun and a plus + button by the side of it. You can also adjust the brightness on a more permanent basis by looking at the power settings within the operating systems control panel.

How can i adjust the brightness of my tecra m1? pressing Fn & F7 or F6 doesnt work.hope you guys could help.

The brightness is automatically controlled by a "Brightness Sensor" However, you can compensate the brightness by using the Toshiba Brightness Sensor Control. In order to use this utility, you must set the Brightness Sensor in Toshiba Power Saver to "ON"

Dull picture on laptop but cursor is still bright

The screen brightness is automatically adjusted by your laptop's Power Management configuration in the Control Panel. Depending on your laptop's brand you might not only have the Windows power management, but also a proprietary power management application within the control panel or in your Start Menu programs usually listed under your computer's brand name. For example a program folder called "Toshiba" under Programs for a Toshiba laptop. Anyway, I would start there. Usually you can set up the screen brightness according to whether or your computer is plugged in or working on battery. Good luck! :)

Well i really want to know what level the coular and brightness lvel has to be on a toshiba t.v

You can set these controls to your liking, though a lower brightness setting might increase the life of the screen. First, set the brightness and contrast to a level that is pleasing to the eyes, then adjust the color to look realistic - enough color without being disturbing. If faces area look greenish or purplish, then also adjust the tint (sometimes called Hue) until you get accurate flesh tone. Flesh tone is the best thing to adjust for; when you get good flesh tone, the rest of the picture will look great. ALWAYS make adjustments during a live news broadcast, which tends to have the most accurate balance of brightness, contrast, color level and hue. Note that commercials are all recorded in different studios with different settings, and will usually not look right - it's best to just live with this than to constantly readjust the TV. There are also DVD's available which walk you through proper TV adjustment.

Hey, i have the monitor listed above and need help

Right-mouse click anywhere on your desktop wallpaper.
Click Properties.
Click Advanced.
Click Monitor, and look for any "settings".

Or, start at http://www.toshiba.com and search for your model-number, and see if any software is available for download.
