Successfully opened the case. Wires look solid, but the trigger does not meet the elec switch, even when pulled to max. Next question, what is the connection between the trigger molding, the "fulcrum" and the switch? The fulcrum seems to be floating.

Most times a break in the wiring is not visible and can occur inside only one wire in the mains power cord several centimeters from the power appliance. The first thing to ascertain is whether there is continuity between the plug pins to the junction. You will need to use a polarity tester. If you don't have a multi-meter you can use a small battery and torch bulb and run them in parallel. Test both the positive and negative wires. If one wire fails to provide continuity then rewiring will solve your problem.

SOURCE: My chainsaw starts when there is no bar and chain

Have you just replaced the chain?
If so there is a possibility the chain and drive sprocket don't match causing the engaging spurs to ride on the sprocket teeth

SOURCE: The wires on the old

Next to each hole on back of switch is a slot or opening for very small screwdriver.
Push screwdriver into hole while pulling back of wire.
It take a pretty good push inward to release the wire.

You can also snip the wire off and then re-strip insulation.
If you're short of wire inside the box, then snipping the wire could be disadvantage.

Loose cord

Recoil spring may be getting old and stretching, but more than likely, your pull cord is old and it has become stretched. Try replacing pull cord first.

Hi behind my new lcd where the power cable is the plastic as melted was shold i do?

LG TVs seem to have a problem with easily loose power cords. A loose cord probably led to an electrical arc, which is probably why you have melted plastic. Plug in the cord tightly into the TV and see if it'll turn on. If if works properly, you can use it as is; just find a way to make sure that the plug doesn't have any strain. What we did was tie the cord to the back of the TV about a foot away from plug; this way, when the power cord gets pulled, when force is resisted by the tie and not the plug itself. If there is significant damage to the cord, you'll want to remove the screws on the back, take out the back cover and replace the whatever damaged parts you find.

My sony klv-32u100m won't power up, is there something i should check?

Verify that the power cord works with something else (like a computer monitor) while it is plugged into the same outlet. I've seen power cords pull loose when a cat stepped on them, or break inside under stress, particularly when people pull them by the cable instead of the plug.

If that is good, you may have a failed power supply. Do you want to get inside the set for a visual inspection? If so, post back for directions on what to look for, and when you do, please indicate whether you know the difference between a transformer and an electrolytic capacitor.

How to replace D620 power jack? pwer jack is "loose" causing intermittent connection with power supply. the problem is "not" power cord.

The power jack is located on the motherboard. It is soldered to it. You have to remove the screws behind the laptop securing the back cover and disconnect the hard drive and GPU cables remove the keyboard so that you can pull out the motherboard. This is necessary since the solder joints are located under the motherboard and the jack is over it. There are 3 pins that are soldered. Remove the solder on all 3 and pull out the jack. Insert the pins of the new jack in the space vacated by the old pins and use a low diameter solder(2mm or less if available and lead free solder only) to solder the pins to the board and voila!

How to change oven coil

Unplug the stove. Be sure to kill power to the oven because one wire to the element is hot and comes straight off L2 the power cord. You could seriously injure yourself or destroy the new part by leaving the range plugged in while you replace this element. Tip: pull out the bottom drawer and you will be able to see the power cord and receptacle in most cases and you can unplug the stove without having to move it. When you have the power removed you only need to remove 2 screws and gently pull the element towards you have the new element sitting on the oven so you can add a wire to it as you remove it from the old one so you won't loose a wire through the back. That is how I do it.

The Radio always goes back to 9 all the time with out turning the truck off just all of a sudden it will go to nine, also i have to hold the mic with tension on the cord or it just gets right statticy,...

Sounds like you have a loose connection to power. Check your ground. It is probably loosing power and restarting on 9.

Its definitely that if it is the same power cord you are using.

Also, there could be a problem with the mic cord or jack.

Replace pwer mirror driver side 2002 ford explorer

remove the door panel with out breaking the hook style plastic clips by un doing any phillip screws holding the doors pull handle, and maybe a couple of lower retainer screws, remove the power window and power lock switchs from the doors handle than pull lightly on the bottom of the door panel . if it feels loose it should pull out about 2 inches.than slide the whole door panel straight up and off the door it self. now you can unclip the power mirror wire connector and remove the mirror itself from the upper corner of the door
good luck chris

Lawnmower Starting Pull Cord Replaement

There will be a piece of casing that holds the starter mechanism in. Usually held by 4 screws (probably torx screws unless it's an old machine).
Undo these screws and you will find the cord carrier inside.
Observe how the starter dogs are located, and how it all goes together.
You may be able to remove & replace the cord without taking the carrier off the casing, but it is probably easier if you do.

Then you simply remove the old cord, thread a new cord through the hole & tie it. Reassemble the carrier onto the casing. Thread the cord out of the casing & through the handle, tie that end.
Then wind the cord around the cord carrier until there is a slight tension on the spring.
Screw the casing back on the mower and you're away.
