I checked the battery while using it...had 60 percent left or more. went black and I cannot get it to turn on. I tried pushing the reset button on the back (little picture of 2 arrows in a circle...you use a pen or pin to press it)still nothing working. I tried charging, just a black screen. had it since Dec. 23rd 2013.

Your tablet may need its battery calibrating. To do this run your tablet until it turns itself off, this will ensure that there is no charge left in the battery. Then leave it on charge until the battery is full. Normal battery use on modern devices like tablets and phones should be between 25-75%, with a calibration once every 3-6 months to ensure a good battery lifespan. If this solution does not work you may need to replace the battery.
It sounds like your in sleep mode. Hold the power button till the display says power off and tap the power off on the display, the charging light will come on and the charging light will change color when it is fully charged.
