My printer continues to indicate that it needs paper but there is paper in it

Depending on the printer's model, it may have multiple paper trays. If that is the case, perhaps your printer is expecting paper on another tray than the one you have your paper in.
You can choose from which tray the paper will be used in the printer options.
Hope that helps!

Error code 5100 on off blinks twice alarm blinks once E2 in window

Errror code E2 indicates a paper-out situation. Fill the paper. If it's full, fill the paper out and reinsert it. If that doesn't work, try this...

1. Power off the printer
2. Unplug the printer's power cord, wait 5 seconds then replug the power cord in.
3. Hold the Power button for 6 Beeps
4. Release the Power Button
This will reset the printer and should resolve incorrect detection problems

X5150 printer turned; no paper in printer; paper feeder continues

Unplug the printer and then open the front and look at the Rear right side and you should see a small ce6913f.jpg
Tab If it is bent then gently with a pencil or pen push it back and try printing if it still gives you problems then contact Lexmark and if you still have a warranty they will replace it if not then you will have to get a new one.
Best suggestion for a new printer that is almost the same is the Lexmark X3550 printer.
