Question about Radio Communications
After upgrading from Windows Vista to 7, I can't find a driver to make it work. I'm using it on A Dell Inspiron 1721 notebook. I had no luck at dell drivers download either. I also tried the usual "driver update" method to no avail. the device pairs ok with computer but has no transmit or receive audio and shows no driver installed "in properties" I could some help.
Unfortunately, Windows 7 removed native support for bluetooth headsets, for absolutely no reason.
The drivers are actually not needed for the Headset specifically, but rather for the A2DP and AVRCP profiles and audio sink. The downside is that Microsoft's Bluetooth stack does not support either of these.
So you need a Better Bluetooth Stack, so it understands all of the virtual Bluetooth devices.
These directions work for almost any headset that has issues when connected to Windows. Sadly, there is no really good well-defined set of drivers for Windows Bluetooth, so it will frequently take some finagling.
1: Find the correct and absolutely most-up-to-date drivers for your Bluetooth hardware on your computer. In -MOST- cases, the chipset is Broadcom, however manufacturers such as Dell and others tend to put some odd wrappers around the chip so their drivers are required. If not, the direct-from-Broadcom drivers will work.
2: IF the Bluetooth hardware is already detected by Windows, delete it from device manager. Reboot the computer if this was done.
3: On reboot, Windows may detect it and reinstall it fresh. This is fine if it does. Allow it to install and reboot if it requests.
Once the Windows stack is installed properly, you can install the updated stack. With Dell drivers and other OEM computer manufacturer drivers, Windows may not detect it to begin with, however having Windows drivers first is not necessary with these drivers.
4: Install the proper driver. With the Broadcom driver, this will only work if Windows has already installed. With OEM drivers, this is often not necessary. Reboot if necessary.
With the happy stack installed, and the headset paired, you will find that instead of just Handsfree Telephony and Headset services, you will also have Remote Control and Audio Sink services.
Headset/Handsfree: Mono 38kbps audio out and also a microphone input. This is what is used for phone calls. It sounds horrid, mind you.
Audio Sink: Stereo happiness and joy. No microphone input.
Once you have these devices, you do need to set your audio playback device appropriately for Stereo Happiness and Joy.

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

What you can do is go to dell's website and dl the bluetooth driver
I read it online
Just go ahead and dl the bluetooth driver at the "network" tabs.

SOURCE: Sir, Please guide me to
Sure! To pair it with your phone or computer, it must be in pairing mode first. If it has never been paired to another device before, just by opening the boom, the indicator light should flash alternately in red and blue, thus indicating it is in pairing mode. Otherwise, to force it to go into pairing mode, press and hold the volume (either + or -) whist opening the boom. It should flash alternately in red and blue. Only then, make the other device's b'luetooth application search for new devices. After a while, the VMX100 should appear on-screen. Select it and make it connect. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). If the pairing process is successful. Now, ot pair it with the other device (the VMX100 is able to pair to up to 4 different devices), make sure the previous device has its bluetooth radio turned off. Then, repeat the pairing process with the other device.
Hope you are able to sort your problems out soon.
By the way, if your headset's user guide happens to be missing, feel free to download it from this location.
