Extensions beginning with 1 and 3 do not work when calling from an outside line.

I recently redid the daytime greeting on our Partner Mail VS system. It seemed that after I did this, all extensions beginning with 1 and 3 do not work when a caller tries to call them from an outside line. Any help would be appreciated.

The voicemail rings busy and is not picking up

Sounds like your voicemail extensions are not programmed. You need to log into System Administration and press #505 Group 7. There you can program the extensions that will handle the voicemail. The extensions are based on type of voicemail used (VS Mail or Partner). Examples are Partner uses 78 and 79. VS Mail can use 28 and 29.

I am unsure of how to change the daytime greeting (not the nighttime greeting) on our Partner Endeavor Mail VS System Release 5.

You''ll have to login to the admin mailbox. That's done by pressing your voicemail key or intercom 777. If you have a Partnermail VS the admin mailbox is 99 with the default password of 1234. Once your into the admin mailbox press 9 for admin programming2.gif. 3 for greetings, press 1 for the day menu and 6 to modify the menu. press *# to skip selector codes2.gif.Press 1 to record your new greeting 1 to stop recording. Press *# to approve or 21 to re-record hang up when finished.

Lucent Partner 34D phone system with 18D extensions

That doesn't sound good at all. I would first try powering down the system and waiting about 15 seconds or so before powering back up. If the problem remains, the processor was some how damagedand would be best if it was looked at by your vendor.

Replacing Partner 308 w/ 509&400EC

You don't need the 400 module for the voicemail. Therefore, you also don't need the 2 slot carrier either.

Stop ringing at certian phones when outside calls come in.

http://dstech1.com/programming-line-ringing/

Partner, all releases.
Examples
Receptionist Call Routing. If you want calls to be answered by the receptionist first, set the lines at the receptionist's extension to Immediate Ring and the lines at the users' extensions to No Ring. (This is the factory setting)
Receptionist Backup. If you want all calls on a line to ring directly at users' extensions -with the receptionist providing backup -set the line at the users' extensions to Immediate Ring. Then set the line (or lines) at the receptionist's extension to Delayed Ring. An incoming call that is not answered by a user within 20 seconds will also ring at the receptionist's extension.
Programming
To change the way outside lines or pools ring at an extension:
  1. Press [ Feature ] [ 0 ] [ 0 ] [ System Program ] [ System Program ] [ Central Tel Program ].
  2. Enter the number of the extension to be programmed for Line Ringing. The green lights next to the line or pool buttons on the phone show the current Line Ringing settings for all lines assigned to the extension. (If a line is not assigned to a button, the green light next to the button is off.) The following ringing options can be shown by the green light next to the line button.
    • Immediate Ring - on steady
    • Delayed Ring - flashes slowly
    • No Ring - flutters quickly
  3. To change Line Ringing for any line, press the line or pool button until the button light shows the correct setting (the setting for the currently selected line or pool also appears on the display).
  4. Continue programming or exit programming mode.

Voice message, reprogramming extensions

How did you program the voicemail so a caller can not leave a voicemail to a particular extension? Line ownership? SO a call goes directly to a milbox?

How can you reprogram the voice message????? Which one, for a particular user or the main Auto attendant greeting????

You have to know the admin login to change a mailbox password.

For that, you need to know which voicemail system this is.
When you log in to check your mail, the lady says, "welcome to Partner......"

Please fill in the blanks.
