Can't find manual for it but it says it's a 16 port. If all 16 ports are labeled identically, just use a standard ethernet cable (i.e. patch cable) from the switch to your router. If there's one port that is a different color or labeled uplink or labeled 'wan' plug that into your router. Then plug all your other devices into the other ports.

I'm assuming you have a router. If not get one. You should not be connected to the internet without a router.

I can't connect to the network/ wifi for my RCA home theater system, I tried putting in manually but still nothing. Please Help.

Does your RCA see the network? IF so, go to it's settings and assign a static IP to it in a proper range (check router settings first). Then connect manually to this IP (point out connection to that IP in settings).

Didn't recognize uplink

Not really, you just have a minor misconception. The network feed is not suppose to plug into the uplink. The uplink is for connecting 2 switches together so they act as if they were one switch.

Wont sign on to internet

Is the computer recognizing the connection to the network?  Does the home network use DHCP?  How do you have the network setup?  Does this connection work with a different computer?  Try pinging any other computer on the network, and try pinging a website.
