Question about LG LFC25760 French Door Refrigerator
Noise occurs right after doors are closed if freezer drawer is also closed. It lasts for a few seconds. Had the fridge for ~6 months and noise just recently started occurring. Is there a damper that opens/closes with the fridge door that may be the source of the noise?
Only thing I can thing of is the slight vacuum caused by the quick temperature change when the warm air that enters when the door is open is trapped after closing the door. As it cools it shrinks and creates a mild vacuum which should dissipate after a few seconds. The creaking is probably the sound of the pressure regulating between the fridge and the room. Might indicate a problem with one of your seals but more than likely is not a concern.
