First of all: DONT DO ANYTHING ON THE PC. The less you do, the less chance that the files are overwritten. Windows hasn't really deleted th files from the disk, it has just deleted them from it's registry, allowing them to be overwritten. There are programs that can ecover those files. If they are ove written, there is no way t get them back. Just google "file recovery tool" or something and you'll find various programs that can help, for example this one: http://www.freedownloads.nl/file_recovery.htm Good luck recovering your data, Yannick.

You can download an "undelete" program but, chances are, it's scrambled. Be save. Don't store a lot of personal information on your computer if you use the internet. It can be hacked.

Go into your DOS shell. Start, All Programs, Accessories, Command Prompt. Type in CAREFULLY---"C:\undelete *.*" WITHOUT THE QUOTES. All undeleted files that are possible to restore, will be restored.

If you have emptied the trash your only hope is to use Recovery software such as Wondershare, or Data Rescue. These are third party programs designed for data recovery in your situation.

I remove the bckd.sys accidentaly from the recycle bin... Who can i recover it? If I get the file from another PC with different license could it work?

Hi,

No, the bckd.sys file is specific to your version of the software. You would have to reinstall the software again.

There is nothing within Windows that will recover a deleted file after the recycle bin is emptied. So the use of a third party software must be used. The recycle bin is essentially a holding area. People often delete files accidentally which was one of the reasons why the recycle bin was created. It gives a file and a user a second chance.

When the recycle bin is emptied, the area occupied by the file or files is then marked available by the operating system. The file IS still there but there is no way to get to it.
There is no way to recover the file without third party software to help you.

Click on the link below and check out File Recovery 4, it's a free download and free to use. It just may recover your deleted file.
If it doesn't recover the file there are plenty of other free file recovery software out there, just Google free file recovery. >>>Link below.

Please let me know if the software recovers the file or if you need anymore help.
