Not enough information. Model number? What was repaired and by whom (DIY or pro)? Check power connections, circuit breaker, control wiring. Check schematic (usually on or inside case) to trace out power flow. Fuse in control panel? These are all ideas of where to start checking. I hope it is helpful to you.

There is a washing machine that is connected to the same outlet and it is working properly. Any suggestions?"

This is my second try at making a suggestion. For whatever reason, the Fixya website would not take my response before, and I tried 2 different ways.... hopefully you will get this. I found the manual online, and in the troubleshooting guide it suggests resetting the thermal limiter. Since this is one of the parts you replaced, I would start there. I would also try a power down in order to reset the microprocessor. I hope this is of help. Sorry it took so long to get back.

Samsung Dryer DV665JW has no Power. I already checked the plugs and Breaker system, they are okay but nothing happens when I press the power button. It is 4 years old. Is it worth repairing ?

First, when you say "no power", is the front panel display totally dead? If so, and you're sure 240v is getting to the back of the dryer where the power cord connects, then its most likely the main board has been blown--did you have a power outtage recently? They are notorious for damaging circuit boards. If the dryer lights up but won't do anything when you push the start button, check the door switch--it's a safety feature that won't allow the dryer to run with the door open. There are also thermal fuses inside which, if open, will kill the power. BTW, yes, the dryer is worth fixing--the cost of a repair won't be near what a new dryer will be.

Dryer will not start. Power light is on. No coins are stuck in drum liner. No blockage. Recent repair replaced mother board at a cost of $500.00. The same repairman rep

Without a complete model number it's hard to say which direction to go. You might need a door switch, some door switches with an interior drum light will be a 3 wire switch allowing the interior light to come on but not the dryer start when the door is closed. Some dryers had a start relay mounted inside the control panel, which is controlled by the main board, failure of these relays can cause a no-op situation. Pleazer Appliance...

FRIGIDARE DRYER WONT START

Hi elclarkjr - First, have you recently clean the lint screen/filter? Also check that the power cord is not damaged. Otherwise the dryer may possibly be experiencing more serious issues like; a wiring failure, faulty control board, thermal limiter, or defective door switch that only a professional can repair. I personally recommend consulting a service provider for a proper diagnosis and to move forward accurately.

Dryer model DBSR453EB1WW won't start. It has power and the light comes on when the door is opened, but when you try to start it there is nothing.

8_29_2011_7_53_41_pm.jpgYou might have a tripped high limit. Looks like this.
Mounts on rear wall atop the heater element. If the dryer needs cleaning it someimes will overheat and trip this limit. I recently repaired one of these and made some PHOTOS

GE Gas Dryer DBSR453GB1WW began squeaking during the most recent drying cycle. We should we try to repair ourselves or get a repair tech?

The squeaking noise is most likely emitting from the drum bearing (key#543). In order to access and replace the drum bearing will require removing the drum. The drum bearing/sleeve is part# WE1M462. I added the instructions on how to remove the drum in the images below. NOTE: Disconnect the power cord from the power source before servicing the dryer.

is check the following:
