SOURCE: keeps resetting back to dynamic

I understand that you dont want to run your LCD in 'Dynamic' mode all the time! I don't! Its a great way to preserve the life of the backlight... All I can suggest is unplugging the Set from the wall outlet for 10 seconds, then plug it back in-- hopefully this resets the unit -- otherwise this is a defect and hopefully you have a warranty that is still valid!

Good Luck!

SOURCE: Picture Mode reverts always to Dynamic after several minutes

The set was a store demo, and the options were set so they could not be adjusted. On instruction from Samsung I pressed MENU and VOLUME buttons on the side of the set and hold for 7 seconds The display reverts to Standard from Dynamic. The Remote Options button showed Store Demo, but now shows Standard. All memory functions seem to function now. Thanks for your help.

Your TV is in DEMO-STORE MODE.
Go to menu, find Plug & Play option, start it, and when asked, select Home Mode, than Enter and than just Exit.

Hi my Samsung dv3 Model no: le32r88bd keeps reseting its display mode to dynamic, with a horrible backlight. Every time I reset it to standard or cinema and deactivate the backlight it resets it self...

The television is doing that because it was either the display model at a store or when it was set up store mode instead of home mode was selected. What needs to be done is for the intial setup to be redone with home being selected instead of store. The tv resets to dynamic for optimal viewing when on display next to other televisions in a store.

The TV will, on t's own, will go to the DYNAMIC (Fixed) setting every 30 mins. or so and I have to go to the settings I like. Then it will go back over and over again.

hello,
Dynamic (Fixed) setting every 30 mins. Then it will go back over and over again because of store mode has selected. To remove or set to home mode you can enter initial setup. Follow the instructions from TV set . Or enter TV location from menu than choose home.
Good luck.

My tv keeps changing from standard picture mode to dynamic

If you are using a HD cable/satellite box and it sounds like you are, you need to change the Apect Ratio or Zoom feature off automatic in the box, just because it is set on the tv does not mean the box doesn't have it's own feature, another thing if you are using a HDMI or component cables for HD the HD signal is the optimal picture for viewing and can disable some picture settings from your tv because it is sending the best picture it can and doesn't want you to alter it, This is common on most tv's nowadays
