Open every opening that you can and let it set for about a month to dry out. Hopefully, nothing shorted out from the water. Again, hopefully, you didn't turn it on.

I spilled a drink on my ds lite. when i try to turn it on the light turns on but not the screen. how do i fix it?

Let it air dry for a few days and try again. If it still doesn't work, you may be able to contact Nintendo support, however I doubt they'd do much about it unless you have an active warranty on the product. If they don't, you won't be able to fix it unless you happened to go to college for engineering. I'm very sorry.

My Nitendo DS lite does not charge, the orange light does not turne ON when I plug the charger. I measured the voltage on the contactes of the DS lite when the charger is plug in and without batterie and...

Well the charger shouldn't be showing voltage if it's not plugged into the ds as the circuits not complete. And if you only recently dropped it in water, take the battery out and make sure there's no games in it and let it dry out for a few days. Also, make sure the cover for the gameboy game slot is off. Hope that helped!

DS lite only playing one type of game

Reset Factory Settings for Nintendo DS 1. Use a small screwdriver to unscrew the back cover.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Wait a few seconds.
4. Replace battery.
5. Turn on DS.
6a. If you have to re-enter your nick-name/time and date etc, it has worked! Go to 7.
6b. If not, remove the battery again and wait longer.
7. Replace cover and screw back in place.

Dropped Nintendo DS Lite on wooden floor - NOW IT WON'T TURN ON

remove the battery for a few mins and put it back in and try again?
Its a long shot but theres very little you can do with this, the insides of the DS lite are REALLY small and the only replaceable parts are the screen, buttons, etc. and you cant really fix damage to the board or chips inside which presumably is whats happened here if you get zero response.
Sorry.. :(

Nintendo ds lite wont turn back on

Not sure if this will help you, but my son dropped his on to a concrete pavement and it wen black, the charge lite would only come up for one second then go out when I plugged it in to charge. Just for fun, I had a spare battery and changed it. In this instance, the system started working again.

Not sure how this can happen, but dropping it on the floor seems to have killed the battery that was in it. A simple replacement battery did the trick for me.

Good Luck in fixing yours
