Tells me iPad is disabled

Connect the device to the computer with which you normally sync and open iTunes. If the device is still disabled, or if iTunes does not automatically sync your device, sync the device with iTunes by pressing the "Back Up Now" button. When the backup and sync are complete, restore your device

Your solution
==============================================

Setting up HTC Sync to recognize your phone

After installing, set up HTC Sync to recognize your phone.

1. From the Home screen, press MENU, and then tap Settings > Accounts & sync.

2. On the Connect to PC screen on your phone, tap HTC Sync and then tap Done. Your phone attempts to find HTC Sync on your computer. Wait for a few seconds for the process to finish.

3. If your phone displays a message indicating that it's unable to find HTC Sync, try disconnecting and reconnecting the USB cable, and then repeat step 2.

4. When the Phone Connection Wizard is displayed on your computer, click Next.
Enter the name you want for your phone, and then click Finish.

Check the HTC Sync icon at the bottom-right side of your computer screen. If it appears green in color, that means your phone has successfully connected with your computer and HTC Sync recognizes your phone

=========================================================

If still no go try this .

Unplug the phone from the PC, restart both the phone and the PC. When the PC is done booting, plug your phone in and see if the autorun box pops up.

===================================================
still if nogo try this .

you have to select disk drive (when plugged in via notification area) to be able to view the drive in windows and htc sync to use htc sync.

Getting a No sync message on monitor ,computer

No sync message could be for 2 reasons.

1. Loose VGA cable
2. Wrong driver installed or configuration made is out of monitor range

For loose cable you can fix it up from both ends, on CPU and on Monitor itself.
For second reason, we just have to delete display driver from Device Manager. Follow below method to delete driver

Start computer in safe mode. To start in safe mode, as soon the system boots up press F8 and select Safe Mode. After you log into the safe mode. Right click the "My Computer" icon on desktop, go to properties,
go to "Hardware" tab, Click on "Device Manager", go to "Display driver" and expland it, select the driver below the expanded "Display Driver" and press delete to remove the driver. Now restart the system and it will automatically adjust the display driver for you.

I can not get my enV2 by LG to sync up to my PC...? I have downloaded the new driver and software... my PC says its good to go...but my phone is telling me connect failure... please check your cable...

reboot your computer (phone not connected) while computer is rebooting, cycle your phone off and back on, once the computer has fully booted (all start-up apps started) connect the phone, allow the computer to find it, follow onscreen instructions if given.

I use windows mobile sync on my system, have had no problems.

Sync out Of range

Hello,
You need to get the monitor back into a range it can use and the best way is to go into SAFE mode on the pc put it back into 640X 480 and at 60 hz refresh rate. 37.9khz is way too high for the monitor!
It is best in the 60hz to 80 hz (if it can go that high!) start at 60 to begin with and it will work.
Good Luck!

Sync out of range

If using windows, boot to safe mode, and make sure your resolution is low enough for your monitor to handle.

Check your cables to make sure there are no broken pins.
