The remote control works well, emits infrared rays, but there is some fault with the infrared sensor inside the device. Check it. Contact any service technician. The remote control do not get a reflex signal from the host equipment.

Dell xps 9100 constant beeps upon startup

Beep Codes
Your computer might emit a series of beeps
during start-up if the monitor cannot display
errors or problems. The following repetitive
beep codes help you troubleshoot problems
with your computer.
NOTE: To replace parts, see the Service
Manual on the Dell Support website at
support.dell.com.
One beep - BIOS ROM checksum failure;
possible motherboard failure
Contact Dell (see "Contacting Dell" on page 53).
Two beeps - No RAM detected

Remove the memory modules, reinstall
one module and restart the computer. If
the computer starts normally, reinstall anadditional module. Continue until you have
identified a faulty module or reinstalled all
modules without an error.

If available, install memory modules of the
same type in your computer.

Three beeps - Possible motherboard failure
Contact Dell (see "Contacting Dell' on page 53).
Four beeps - RAM read/write failure

Ensure that no special memory module/
memory connector placement requirements
exist (see the Service Manual on the Dell
Support website at support.dell.com).

Verify that the memory modules that you are
installing are compatible with your computer.

Five beeps - Real Time Clock failure
Replace the battery.
Six beeps - Video BIOS test failure

Try drying the board with a hair dryer but not so hot to destroy the electronics. Place an ample amount of distance between the board and the electronics. Set aside for an hour, then try the machine.

Typically any unprogrammed channels when selected will emit a long continuous beep. It is possible your radio has a programming problem, or a channel select problem, or another internal problem in need of repair.

Best regards.

How do I sinc my fireplace remote ecs1001-a two button to fireplace

Each transmitter uses a unique security code. It will be necessary to press the LEARN button on the receiver to accept the transmitter security code upon initial use, if batteries are replaced, or if a replacement transmitter is purchased from your dealer or the
factory. In order for the receiver to accept the transmitter security code, be sure the slide button on the receiver is in the REMOTE
position; the receiver will not LEARN if the slide switch is in the ON or OFF position. The LEARN button in located on the front face
of the receiver; inside the small hole labeled LEARN. Using a small screwdriver or end of a paperclip gently press and release
the black LEARN button inside the hole. When you release the LEARN button the receiver will emit an audible "beep". After the
receiver emits the beep press ANY transmitter button and release. The receiver will emit several beeps indicating that the transmitter's code has been accepted into the receiver.

I think that you need to reset the remote. You can do this by opening the rear (battery) holder and pushing the reset button using a pencil. TYhis button is just below where the battery pack plugs into the remote.
This worked for me.
