Put the hdd in, get your OS disc and install it then download all of the drivers from the manufacturers web site before it will work properly. Then install your programmes and finally restore your backup data.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

The hard drive is the formatter in the T610.
HP has a special operating system software loaded on the hard drive, so you can't just format a blank one and install it.

The whole formatter assembly will need to be replaced.
