Belts have all kinds of crossovers. Basically if you have the belt number of the one you are looking to replace, you can simply enter that number on Google, for instance, 754-0453 belt . Always write belt after the number to fasten your search. There are many many vendors that make replacement belts, a dime a dozen.
do you have the old belt??? If so, take it to an automotive parts store and buy a belt the same size. If not take it to an appliance store that sells parts... and see if they can match it. If the old belt has any numbers on it that will be a big help. Have you tried Amazon or Ebay....??? I bet I can find a belt within a hour or two.
Hello, My name is Dane and I am going to help you solve your problem. Your Hydro drive belt Part number is sears part number 140218 which is a 1/2 x 84.5" belt. Well, I hope I've helped. If you found this reply helpful, please leave me some THUMBS UP if you think I'm deserving! :-) Thank you! Dane
Go to appliancepartspros.com and type in your model number. Use the suggested model number they provide, which is the XMW0 suffix you have listed. The part numbers will be the same for these models. If you look under the "Cabinet" diagram at item number 56, it states in the part description that this belt replaces the 5 rib (wider) belt that you have and fits all Whirlpool models. The part number is AP2946843.
For a diagram on how to replace the belt, go to repairclinic.com and click on the "Repair Help" link at the top of the page. On the next page, is a link for "Dryer Belt Diagrams" under the "Special Features" section. Scroll down to Whirlpool and use diagram H. I hope this helps you. Let me know if you require additional assistance.
