I assume that your o/s is vista and you will need to partition the drive with a bootable partition method..Google it and you will find some software free to do that.Once done install xp on the other partition and be aware that you will a valid serial key in order to use all functionality of xp..Hope this helps and please do leave a rating.

How can I use it as a printer? must I have CD

Minolta DiALTA Di183 drivers
Drivers for your version of operating system (e.g. Windows CP) are required to be installed to use the copier as a printer, however CD is not necessary as the drivers can be downloaded from the Minolta Official Support site.
Please visit the above link and download the drivers. Note that the drivers are available for Windows XP, 2000 and NT. (Detailed Installation instructions are also available)

Hope it helps! Good Luck!

I have a Hitachi LCD projector model No. CP-RX70. When I connect with my laptop (Compaque) and start both then only starting window XP message appears through projector and laptop works normally but again...

The setup is not correct. Check the requirements of the projector, (size, refresh rates etc.) and set the laptop up accordingly.
You will se the XP Screen because the laptop hasn't loaded any drivers yet and the screen is low resolution.
Hope that helps.

You could find all the softwares and drivers available for your machine on this website consumersupport.lenovo.com, you just need to type in their the serial no. of your laptop and the exact model and it will output every software and drivers available for your machine, just remember to choose the correct operating system for your machine. seems that it's a SATA drive and the drivers are not included in XP.
There are some tools available to include these drivers into the XP CD.
Search the net for 'xp-iso-builder' or 'n-Lite'.

This is not necessary if your laptop's got a floppy drive (i don't think so). Then the SATA drivers can easily be loaded by pressing F6 when booting from the XP CD.

How to install XP in toshiba Satellite L45-S7423 laptop

You cannot uninstall Windows Vista, but you can reinstall your previous operating system, which then replaces Windows Vista. To reinstall your old operating system, you must have the original installation disc. Back up your programs and files, insert the installation disc into your computer, and then reinstall the old operating system. To regain the hard disk space used by Windows Vista, reformat the disk during the reinstallation process. After reinstalling your previous operating system, reinstall your programs and files.

Video drivers

it may be that there is a problem with the bios, as Vista enabled laptops have a later bios version, but i assume that you have exclamation marks where you mention these devices, if not then you have windows generic drivers running instead which will need to be uninstalled first especially the raphics driver as that would cause the main crashes. if you have no exclamation marks against these devices right click on each and select uninstall. Try again to install or run the drivers then restart the notebook and see which drivers the system tries to install, if you get the choice install them manually and point windows to install the drivers from where you have them saved if you are unable to run them. if you do succeed my advice is to install Vista on a seperate partition as i did so as to enable a dual boot and have both systems available when i need them
