Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

Motorola razr I have a razr and the phone works fine, I can answer calls and make calls, except the fact that some of the buttons on the keypad works and others dont. Also, occaisionally the phone will dial 2 over and over again. The phone was dropped in some water this past weekend. Can i just replace the keypad circuit or do i need a new phone

keypad has certain flex connector.might getting stuck or the keypad membrane is dirty.

u'll have to get the keypad checked ...because the connection b/w the buttons and the chipset does seem to be ok.

My phone keypad isn't working

When ever i try to cliick something on my keyboard pad it won't work. the only button that does work is the Red button that ends the call. Which does me no good. What is the matter with my cell phone?

Usually this means that you need to take it to a repair shop to have the keypad replaced but truthfuly it would be cheaper just to get a new phone. Hope this helps =)

your phone problem is the keypad flex of your phone'
you can fix it by replacing the keypad flex'
motorola dealer has the keypad flex'
ask for a skilled cellular technician to re-place your keypad fle..
i hope it will helf to your prob...

It is a humidity issue. I had the same problem with my phone. I baked it in the oven on the lowest setting for 20-30 minutes and it works fine now :)

Hi There, If this phone is brand new it is faulty and should be returned to seller. This problem usualyy occurs when u have a faulty flex cable either on the screen or the entire keypad assembly. One of these would need to be replaced by a repair tech for v3 phones.Hope this helps. Sam !

Motorola Razr - Keypad Doesn't Work

My phone developed the same trouble............ Removed battery and SIM and blew dry air into anyhole I could find, put it back together and has worked ever since.
