Question about Pioneer SD-P62A3-K 62" Rear Projection Television

2 Answers

My SD-P6093-K Pioneer has recently stopped turning on. It makes a click noise as if it was turning on, but about 3 seconds later it makes another click noise and then then nothing. No picture no anything. I opened up the back to see if i could figure it out and when you try and turn the TV i hear the first click then the second click then a little red light turns on inside the TV.

I just replaced the convergence ICs on my TV SD-P6093-K and found allot of miss information on the internet.
First of all the convergence card is not located behind the front speaker panel but in the back of the set. It is in on the left side of the panel with all of the various sockets. It has an L shaded aluminum piece attached to it.
Second some people claim that you can use STK392-180, STK4274-SL or STK4279-SL ICs. I don't know if any of that is true but I do know that the STK392-110 that was originally installed worked fine for many years and is available on the internet for as little as $6.00 each (you will need 2).
It is an easy fix if you know how to solder. Remember to use thermal compound on the back of each IC before installing.

My oven fan has recently started to make a very loud rattling noise for around 30 seconds once every few minutes while the oven is turned on in fan mode.

The fan needs be cleaned and lubricated. To do this: Turn off stove/oven. Remove fan cover plate. Remove fan. Clean and lubricate the shaft bearings with 3 way oil. Install fan and cover plate.

Turning on SD-P403 Pioneer projection tv

Take off back cover. The problem power board is to the right of the board where the power plug feeds into the TV. There is a large white fuse right bend the power plug. With a meter it read ok; about 8 inches deeper into the TV on that board was the resister next to two fuses. My 4 amp 125 volt fuse did not read on my meter. After replacing, it worked fine.
