Plug in the monitor cable (blue head) to computer display car properly. If you find difficulty in getting display card, it is located at back side of Cabinate box (CPU Box) and try to match the pin orientation.

the problem was not the power supply, if you had a green light before.
motherboards will not start up if the motherboard (northbridge) gets too hot. This is to save your CPU from overheating. Make sure that the CPU fan is on, and you can leave your case open, and not in your closet, to stay cool long enough to order a more efficient case with circulation. You probably upgraded graphics cards too? The new ones run hot.
If you hear no beeps and the led lights, and the fans stay on after striping all the components from the motherboard except for the cpu, and power supply, you have either fried your motherboard or your cpu.
Its impossible to tell without more testing.
I'm sorry but you either need someone to test it or you can buy a new computer (thats what I did).
For about USD $300-$400 you can get a brand new computer with 500mbs of ram, 120gb hard drive and a 3 ghz cpu. If you look around you can get an even better deal.
