Question about Edirol FA-66 Sound Card
I have an Edirol FA-66 and a set of Harman Kardon speakers. The speakers have a small jack and the sound card has a large jack. I have a small to big jack adapter that I use to plug the speakers into the card. Whether I plug the speakers into the back, or into the headphone jack, it seems that I only get one of the stereo channels coming through the speakers. Any ideas?
NB I know that the outputs at the back may only carry one channel, but the headphones shouldn't, right?
Also the speakers work fine when tested on other computers (e.g. my laptop).
Possibly, your adapter of small to big is not a stereo adapter. Seems like a mono adapter.
