If the printer cartridge has leaked from the printing head you'll need to buy a new one, there's no way to repair it.

Canon printer

It shouldn't dry up in such short a time, not unless you've done a lot of printing and the cartridge has run out. The seller is taking the mickey.

If you've replaced with canon cartridges and it still fails, insist on replacement or repair under warranty.

If repaired, check that it works properly before accepting it.

Refilled the ink and it is still saying it needs

Unfortunately, you may need to buy new Epson manufactured ink cartridges. Some of the ink cartridges and/or printers have a setting that says this cartridge is empty and refilling the cartridge does not clear the empty code.

How do i refill the ink myself cannon mp520

You need to reset or replace the ink level monitoring chip on these cartridges for refills to work. I know some refill kit sellers don't like to mention this to people before they buy the ink. Otherwise, I would recommend Cartridge World for ink refills because it can be messy to fill these cartridges and they always reset the chips for you.

Can't print after i refill the cartridge, why is that?

If refills are done properly they will NOT damage your printer and they WILL produce good quality prints. If you refilled the cartridge yourself or at Walgreens/Costco/OfficeMax it is likely there is either an air pocket between the ink supply and the print head or the electronics on your cartridge have failed. I recommend Cartridge World for refills. They produce a high quality product that has a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If one of these stores is not in your area, I recommend Office Depot brand refilled cartridges.

In the middle of a print job, my cartridge refill stops feeding ink. Printer MN J4680. Does this printer hold the cartridge # in memory in order to stop one from refilling?

HP printers do not remember the cartridge serial number to reject refills (certain Canon printers do though). It sounds like you have an air bubble in the sponge that is inhibiting ink from reaching the print head. I would guess that either you or the store/internet seller that refilled this cartridge hand filled it. These cartridges should be filled under a vacuum to remove air bubbles from the sponge and allow you to fully fill the cartridge (an air bubble takes up space that your ink could be occupying). I recommend Cartridge World or Office Depot for refills. Avoid internet sellers and refill shops that have one giant all-in-one machine that does the filling for them.

. HP 6210 all in one Kept printing till unplug

HP will tell you to never refill cartridges because they will not guarantee your printer will print properly with those refilled cartridges. If those refilled cartridges leak and cause damage to your printer HP will also not cover any repairs to the printer regardless of what sort of warranty coverage you have with them. Warranties only cover HP failures, not ones caused by using third-party or refilled ink cartridges. So, no it is not worth having the cartridges refilled - buy new HP-branded ones only.

Printer cartridges not recognised

Sometimes even when an ink cartridge has been refilled to capacity, your printer still registers it as empty. This is because your printer remembers that the cartridge was previously installed and it can only remember it as being empty. Part of this is due to technology put in place by printer manufacturers so that you will always have to buy new cartridges. Part of it is also that print catridges are clogged if not used for sometime after its empty even after refilling this is because the contact was already clogged due to the dryness of the old ink inside it before refilling so in that case you will clean/soak the contacts with solvent before refilling .
again since there is no “official” way to fix this problem, you have to basically clear the printer’s memory to make it recognize that you are installing a full cartridge. If you have tried to install the refilled cartridge and you have done all you can to convince your printer that the cartridge isn’t still empty, then basically you just have to unplug your printer for a minute and then trying reinstalling again. but it should fix this problem and it can potentially fix other annoying things your printer is doing.
