I am not familiar with Crocs boots, but if they are the same material as Crocs shoes, this is what I have been advised: Turn on your oven to a low setting - no higher than 200 degrees. Put the shoes / boots in the oven for about 5 minutes. Take them out of the oven and put them on. The heat will have caused the material (a kind of rubber, I think) to stretch. This has worked well for my Crocs shoes. You might have to do this each time you wear the boots. Good luck, and let us know if this works for you.
Putting your shoes through the washer and dryer can be hard on your shoes and their appearance. If you want to wash your Nike shoes, buy a special shoe cleaner or use dish soap and then let your shoes air dry. This will prevent any stretching or wear and tear from the dryer.
When fabric is of canvas material they can be washed in the washer, suggested detergent to use Baby Shampoo as it is much more gentle on the fabric. Use warm water only as hot will shrink as it does with clothes washed in hot water will also make them stiff and brittle, baby shampoo will also lend a nice scent which will remove any shoe odors noses could detect short wash only, do not dry in dryer without a rack as the tumble action can damage the rubber sole, best if dried in a warm room or outside not in direct sunlight as sun can damage the fabric, best very warm day for drying Good Luck !
You should clean your crocks in the following way: Fill a bowl with some warm water and one drip of Ivory dish soap. You may use another brand of dish soap, but Ivory is the most gentle. Grab a wash cloth and carefully wipe down your Crocs. Wash the bottoms last because they will be the dirtiest Now i'll address your second question. Beyond being comfortable, the shoes have some features which make them especially good for feet. The shoes are designed with built-in arch support, circulation nubs and an orthotic heel cup to support and protect the heel. In addition, Crocs shoes are ventilated for cooling and filtering purposes. They are also slip and marking resistant.
