Any scope will mount on any rifle using the appropriate mount and ring combination. It shouldn't be a problem to mount it on your savage.

Serials did not strictly run sequentially. Yours was built after 1951.

Since it is only two that split, it is not a concern. The cause is most likely bad brass.

Can u fit a Suzuki sportbike motor on a 2001 Suzuki savage ls650

The new engine is NOT going to slide right in. You would need to cut the frame tubes, add tube sections and then cut off and move engine mount tabs on the frame. Another problem will be the alignment of the front sprocket to the rear sprocket. A wider engine than the old one will stick out on the right side. This would affect the balance of the bike and cause a squirrelly ride. Please rate my answer. Thanks.

To increase the top end speed, just put on a smaller rear sprocket. Alternate to that, is to mount a larger front sprocket. You can do either or both depending on how much top end speed is wanted and how strong the engine is to carry the load. The length of the chain will need to be changed.

Did Bausch and Lomb ever make a adjustable cope mount for the Savage model 99 "DL". The "DL" designation is important as Savage implemented a top mounted tang safety and standard 99 mounts will interfere...

http://www.hegibbs.com/mountlist.htm ,,, I just looked here and they don't show it listed for the 99 dl, but they do offer you to write them. Good luck.
