SOURCE: Horseshoe clip back on?

If it's a standard "E-ring" clip (looks like a round E letter, fits the outer rim grooves), you just need to push it in place sideways using plyers or a screwdriver.

If it's an outer "O" ring clip (looks like a split ring having a flat surface with a small hole at each end, the holes facing outwards, fits the outer rim grooves), you will need the ring opening plyers tool to hold the ring open (expanded) when you put it place, or you may also use twin plyers or a pair of pointed metal sticks to open it and slide it onto the spindle, then just push it down until it locks into the groove.

There's also an inner "O" ring (has holes facing inwards, fits the inner rim grooves), this needs to be pushed together (contracted) to fit into the rim and released so it will expand into the groove, also requires a specific tool, but can as well be worked with some kind of improvised tool.

Hope i'm talking sense here, but i assume the clip on your aiwa's spindle looks somewhat alike to what i've described, i'm just not sure which type of clip/ring it is (E / outer O / inner O), i suspect it is an E ring as i've seen this kind on other brands.

Need help disconnecting a hose assembly on Delta faucet. This is the new white sort or rectangular type quick connect hose assembly.

There is a plastic horseshoe shaped retainer clip that must be pulled back from the housing to remove the hose. It can be a little tricky so bring a very small flat screwdriver with you to help pry the clip open.

How do i remove the platter of Pioneer PL512?

You will need to peel off the rubber matt. You can glue it back with Bostick afterwards. At the spindle should be a horseshoe clip. It could be covered up, so you will have to remove the covering too. Remove the horseshow clip and it should come off.

Dose not heat

If on/off light comes on but no heat---remove bottom part. The heating coil looks like a horseshoe(biggest piece you see when bottom is opened). On the ends of the horseshoe near where wires come out there should be metal clips on heating coil holding some wires. Slip the wires/covers from clips and pull back the covering over the part that the clip was holding(you will be exposing the fuse).
Take piece of wire and connect to 1 side of fuse then connect other end of wire to other side of fuse so you have by-passed the fuse. HANDS AWAY FROM MAKER-- plug in maker and press on/off button. put your hand near where the coffee pot sits and check for heat. As soon as heat is detected, unplug maker and REMOVE WIRE !!. This confirms the fuse as the problem. Remember that there usually is at least 2 fuses. You need to verify the size of (thermal fuses). Both of mine were 184 degrees C. Check "goodmans.net" for your size thermal fuse. You will need to crimp new fuse in instead of using solder. Good luck

How to remove seized platter on turntable?

Most platters are attached at the pivot. You might need to remove the matt and any plastic covers around the pivot. You will perhaps find a horseshoe clip holding it on.

Replace window regulator

Give your self about an hour and you'll easily have it done. Remove all screws and obvious retainers to the panel (usuall popped on press fittings) Thw window winder handle can be removed with a wide shoe lace or similar . It's retained by a horseshoe shaped spring clip. Use the lace to pull the clip in the opposite direction to the horseshoe clip and try not to loose it ! Pull on panel to remove,This should give you free acess to winder mountings and the glass retaining/mountion brackets. Disconnect glass and remove for safety. remove winder mechanism and reverse proceedure to re- assemble. Ensure all fittings are tight and good luck

How do i remove door panel to get window runner

The panel is usually a pop button type retainers holding the panel on, Obviously all screws will have to be removed ie; grab handle, internal door opening lever, and the window winder,
TIP remove window winder handle with a shoe lace or a lenght of thin material , it's a horseshoe shaped spring clip holding the winder handle on and pulling the shoe lace or material in the opposite direction of clip will easily remove clip (don't loose ) Good luck

Need to remove rear axle

OK I did this recently, lift and support rear, remove wheels, place drain tray under centre of axel, remove rear cover (dont worry you dont have to touch the bearings or settings) take the truck out of park and select neutral. turn the large gear (crownwheel) until you see one 10 mm bolt head, unscrew this bolt, turn the crownwheel a bit more and drop out the 1/2" pin this bolt held in. you can now tap the hubs in a little and slide out a horseshoe clip that retains the shaft, pull out the shaft and change the dust shield (they can be had after market cheaply) slide the shaft back in, do other side, re fit the horseshoe clips and pull the shafts out until the clip is inside its recess, slide in the 1/2" pin, you might need to move the little gears that run on this pin with a bit of stiff wire or little finger untill the pin slides home, align the bolt hile with a small screwdriver and fit 10 mm bolt, new gasket, fit cover and new oil, fit brakes etc and wheels. get back if you get stuck.

Are you serious? All you have to do is get a tiny screwdriver and slide the thing off in the logical way (away from where the "horseshoe" is open and horizontal to the platter.
