Question about Eureka Vacuums
Hi, I have a question, I just got my vacuum 3 mouths ago, and its a eureka pet lover model # 439 . I sent it to the local vacuum shop that eureka told me to bring it, It toke them a week to fix's it and got it back 1 week ago and they said the problem was I needed a new filter , so they charged me for that I binged it home and worked for 2 days and now it shuts off aging just like before, and I called eureka and they said that maybe the motor is bad but when I sent it in to the local vacuum shop they said that everything is good just needed a new filter, but I know there's a safety thing in the vacuum that when it get clogged it shuts-off , how can I make it that it wont shutoff anymore is there away to stop the safety thing in the vacuum, because It has a new filter and its clogged a little , show I cleaned it out and it works aging then it stops aging, what can I do? Eureka told me I have 1 year Warranty but they still wont help me, they told me to bring it back aging to that shop but I do not have the money to pay for another filter, and why do I need to buy a new filter every week Please help,
Your new filter should last more than a week but you may have to clean it thoroughly after each use. One problem with vacuums that do not have a bag is the surface area of the filter is usually not very big so it does not take much fine dust to clog the pores of the filter. If air can't pass through the filter the motor will get hot and shut off.

I would check your fan and see if any of the blades have been fractured. I had this happen recently when my vacuum caught a screw and the sound and vibration was deafening.

A high pitch wine may be the sign of a bad bearing. Try to narrow down exactly where the noise is coming from. You may have to remove the brushroll and turn it on without it to see if it could be coming from there.
