Start button collapsed

Pushed the start button and the button underneath collapsed. Now I can't start the wash because there is nothing below the start button to push.

There is a control module behind the button, maybe the screws became loose and it is falling away.

SOURCE: The cycle doesn't start

This could be one of a couple of differnt things, one is the switch is bad, 2 a wire is broken - 3 the timer is bad or you have a dead short which should if properly grounded will throw the breaker or fuse

SOURCE: My front loading washing machine

The "F1" error code on the Whirlpool cabrio is quite common, and generally has to do with the control board. Replacing the control panel may resolve this issue. However, I believe Whirlpool is aware of the F1 issue with the Cabrio, and is fixing some machines for free. Please call 1-800-253-1301 for more details and see if you are eligible for a free repair.

Thank you !!

My westinghouse LT608S wont start washing cycle. washer turns on ok, then when i press the start button to start washing it keeps beeping at me, and the 2 lights on the 'water level' section are flashing....

Westinghouse lt608s...I had the same problem that when you pushed start it would just beep and the water level lights would flash...i fixed this by replacing the magnet underneath the lid. To test if this is the problem place a magnet about a third of the way up ion top of the lid on the left hand side and then press start. If it starts then you know the magnet that is supposed to be underneath the lid is either broken and missing or rusty...anyway i hot glued mine (as i do not use hot wash) back under the lid and hey presto it worked fine.

Left click button has colapsed on HP G60-535DX laptop/notebook

I had this happen with a Compaq CQ70....The palmrest has to be removed and in most cases the retainer for the button can be pushed back into position from underneath. At the very least, the button assembly may have to be replaced. Is it still possible to activate the left click even though the button is collapsed? If not, the problem maybe the collapse of the actual button assembly on the circuit board under the plastic button assembly. Below is the link to the service manual for that laptop. The link below is named cq60 etc, which is the HP cousin of the G60. They are exactly the same like Chevy trucks and GMC.

I just moved into a flat with the WMA641 w Beko Washing Machine. I loaded it and turned it on : settings : Delicates 30 degrees. Pushed the on button and nothing happens. after few seconds the on light...

turn the machine off at the wall , leave off for 30 secs , switch back on
and push the start button
give the door an extra shove as this may not be fully closed
the on/off button will be a push in type , the start button is usually much smaller
