the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)

Need mac adress?

The MAC address is a 12-charcter hexadecimal code, grouped in two character clusters separated by colons, that is unique to the device. Some network routers use this as a way to identify devices and validate them on their system. Usually, this can be found in the Settings part of the device, under either Wireless Network or the General Information ("About Tablet") sections.

How do I connect to wi-fi?

To start you need to check you are entering the right password! The password is the one for the WiFi! Is it written on a card or on the router, it will be case sensitive!

My Samsung tablet wll not let me load Facebook newsfeed.I can not log in to Google. It does let me access games

Make sure the wifi/3g is turned on and connected to a network with internet access. You might need to refresh your router and modem as my Galaxy Tab sometimes gets messed up if I log on to another wifi network away from home. i.e. McDonalds/Pizza Hut etc. I may be connected to my wifi, but my tablet doesn't have a correct IP address if it has one at all. The internet speed can be a factor as games don't use a much bandwidth as apps like Google and Facebook.

Wifi connection/ IP address unavailable

I would guess your wifi broke.. but you can always ... try wifi elsewhere to verify... if it works then you need to manually connect to your wifi... I would attempt to get your Ip off the working one and copy the same IP and DNS for your wifi... since it's a tablet I would just reset it to factory settings if it just is stuck... you can back up your files VIA google or BUMP app

IP Address unavailable/ cannot hook up to internet

Has it been rooted?
The equivelent of a an ipad/iphone jailbreak?

You can check this by doing one of two things.
The first is by going into settings, scrolling down to the bottom and clicking on About Tablet.
If not that then go to Settings/Device and then click About Tablet.

The second, and easiest, is to check to see if you have an app called SuperUser (SU).
If you do then your device is rooted.

Other ways to check, which is more dificult because of you not being able to get WiFi access, is by downloading an app called Root Checker or a Terminal app.
Root checker is self explanitory as it does exactly what it says on the tin.
It will check to see if you have root access to your device and will tell you either way.
The terminal app will show a hash tag symbol (#) as soon as it is started.
This is also an indicator of root access.

Have a look in the WiFi/network settings for your device and see if it has been set up to use a proxy or VPN.
If it has then clear these settings and try to enable the WiFi again.
If this doesn't work then i would restore the device back to factory settings as it could be a software issue.
Failing that you could always upgrade the firmware to the new 4.4 KitKat which, if your device is rooted, will wipe root access out.

Sees Wi-Fi but not network intermittently

Seems typical of interference. Have you checked neighbours channels. Lots of apps can search nearby channels. This enables you via the router configuration a free channel. Your signal can say strong but that means nothing. Is your router near a speaker or source of magnet / power. That can cause issues. Any chance you can move the router somewhere else. If this doesn't work then check your phone connection. Splitter change? All wires looking good. Finally you may have a faulty router. It really looks like channel garbage from others as the refusal to sync means the radio channel is damaged.

Does the WiFi router have SSID? Did it ever connect to other WiFi Access Point before? If not some say to set the Tab on Static IP and configure the router to allow the Tab's MAC address. Hope it helps.
